Shizui and Jingyi had planned to go to JinLin Tai and ask Jin Ling if he would like to join them in night hunt. Then in middle of night hunt Jingyi would dissappear and Shizui would say as Jingyi had said him to. Shizui was truly awed by the plan but a part of him was nervous as hell.
But who would have known that Jin Ling was already hunting a sea creature in Phoenix mount. Later ever though Shizui got the opportunity, his nervousness and fear of being rejected took over his head, and he ran towards Jingyi as if a dog was chasing him.
"Why did you run away?!" Jingyi loudly wishperd at him.
"Ah... I got nervous..." Shizui replied.
Right now Jin Ling was bathing and they were sitting on the rock shair at the back yard. Shizui looked here and there, his eyes unintentionally landed on the flower garden.
"Isn't that sunflower?" He asked as he got up to check.
"It's only sapling." Jingyi tilted his head to think, "I dunno." Shizui carefully checked the plants, "It is. Its sunflower."
Jingyi got up and walked towards him to check the saplings as well. He commented, "It'll bloom to be a beautiful flower, I guess."
Shizui smiled as he gentle touched the leaves of one of the saplings, "If its sown properly, it'll surely be beautiful."
"WOOF! WOOF! WOOF!"
Both Shizui and Jingyi turned their heads. Fairy was running towards them. It took a moment for both of them to understand before they moved away from the plants. And so, Fairy calmed down.
"Looks like it was protecting it." Shizui laughed. "That means... These flowers are sown by Jin Ling?" Jingyi asked. Shizui patted Fairy and caressed its fur, "It can be."
Right then an arrogant voice interfered them, "What are you two doing?"
Fairy ran towards Jin Ling wagging its tail in joy and woofed twice to welcome him. He patted Fairy and pointed towards Jingyi, "Stay away. Its mine."
Jingyi was standing in between those saplings and Shizui. At first, he glanced at Shizui from head to toe in disbelief.
Shizui face palmed in his mind. He slowly said, "He's saying you to move away from those plants."
"Oh.." Jingyi laughed, "I thought you already made him your- mphh mmhhh mphh mhh??!!! Mmmmphhh mphh!!"
"Stay quite." Shizui calmly said, "It'll de-spell by itself after half an hour."
"MMMPPHHH MMMHHH MHPHH?!!"
He further added, "You'll have qi deviation if you try to break it yourself."
"...."
Thus, Jingyi remained quite. He stomped towards the rock chair and sat down with crossed arms.
Shizui cupped his hands and bowed towards Jin Ling, "I apologize for our inconvenient behaviour, Sect Leader Jin."
Jin Ling, ".........."
Fairy, "Woof woof!"
"And what about Miss Sangze?" Shizui asked, "Is the investigation going on?"
Jin Ling scratched his nape, "Yeah... The investigation is going on. I'll let you know more in details later.
He stooped and patted Fairy on her head "Guard that person sitting there" He said while pointing at Jingyi.
"Huh?" Shizui was askance, "Why would Fairy need to guard him-"
Before he could complete his sentence Jin Ling tightly grabbed one of his hand and lead him somewhere.
"Jin Ling where are you taking me?" Shizui asked while running.
"Be quite and just follow me." Right now Jin Ling wouldn't like to turn around. His face was as red as a tomato. He had made his mind. He had thought about it a lot while he was bathing. Waiting for an opportunity that'll never come will only make him grave. Its now or never.
They stopped in an area of the yard that was surrounded by trees which were most likely withered. Not many disciples were there or we can just say that no disciples were present there.
He let go off Shizui's hand. He deeply inhaled and exhaled. Then softly said, "I want to tell you something. So listen up." His heart was pounding as if the elephants were dancing in his hearts.
He heard Shizui saying, "Actually I too have something to say."
Jin Ling tilted his head while facing his back to Shizui, "Then you say it first."
Shizui scratched his temples, "Actually you say it first then I'll say."
"You..." Jin Ling knitted his brows, "say it first."
"Ack-" Shizui more vigorously scratched his temples. Jin Lin cut him off, "Well I called you here. So, I might say it first."
"Okay with me." Shizui replied.
Jin Ling once again deeply inhaled and exhaled. He tried to say it as low as possible. But because his heart was racing up, his mind didn't listen to him.
"I LOVE YOU!"
"........."
"huh?!"
There was a moment of silence. Jin Ling's face was getting redder than a tomato. He made his position to rum away before saying, "I SORRY!"
He ran passed by Shizui. But his wrist was caught in time and he was pulled back. His back collided with a firm chest.
He heard Shizui wishpering near his ear, "What...did you say?"
"I..." As if an invisible hand was choking him he couldn't utter a single word. Shizui repeated, this time his voice was deeper and lower than before. It tingled Jin Ling's ear.
"I..."
This is it. Say it!
"I SAID I LIKE YOU! I ADMIRE YOU! I'VE ADMIRED YOU SINCE A LONG TIME! I-I..." He tilted his head to meet his eyes with Shizui's and softly said, "I love you..."
Then he closed his eye.
It was really very shameful. Most embarassing moment ever. He was ready to get a nice solid punch from him but instead his received he felt a soft touch on his forehead.
He opened his eyes and saw that Shizui had just now kissed his forehead.
"huh?????!"
Shizui chuckled and turned Jin Ling around so that they would stand face to face. He chuckled and softly said, I love you too."
Jin Ling's eyes widen. He could feel his heart beat and he could also hear Shizui's heartbeat.
Shizui continued, "I've been dying to say it you. I really really really love you!"
Jin Ling's face was tilted a little up to make an eye contact with Shizui. When Shizui looked down at his face, his hormones took better of him. He had a desire to feel those rosy red lips once again.
He bent his head closure touch his lips and slowly sucked Jin Ling's bottom lip.
As for Jin Ling, it was his first experience. He was just a novice. He didn't even know how to kiss back. He just stood there like a statue, tightly shutting his eyes and closing his fist.
It was an insane feeling! Scary yet so exciting. A little pain with lots of pleasure. Really a unique feeling.
