Chapter 11: It's Too Early for Wendy to Play House with Peter Pan
Bianca, the small midget who forced her way inside Blake's apartment, was currently glaring at me. We were seating at Blake's bed, watching reruns of Sponge Bob while the latter was making us pancakes. I feigned ignorance which only earned me a kick at my side and as much as I want to kick the midget in return, I don't think it would do me any good- for one, she was a kid and secondly, Blake seem fond of her so no.
I saw her pout and crossed her arms on her chest and I feel just a tad bit smug that I could also get on her nerves, the kid has been anything but rude ever since she saw me and let's just say that I'm not good with bitchy kids- I hate them.
She must've seen my suppressed smile because she started throwing a fit, hitting me with the Barbie pillow case Blake had given her. I tried dodging her attacks but since my reflexes was more on the rusty side, I received blow by blow of her incessant attacks.
I saw her feet before it hit my thighs so I stopped it mid-strike. "Hey! Stop it Bianca, what's your problem? Ow. That hurts!"
Bianca just smiled evilly at me and I almost believed that she was Blake's daughter, they have the same smug wicked grin. "I don't like you!" She stated simply as she continued attacking me. I must admit that her simple confession hurt me, what is it that make people hate me? "You shouldn't be here. Mommy should be with Daddy, not you!"
I gritted my teeth to keep my half-ass remark from coming out. Blake's not her father and I think she knows that fully well but still called him that. If she kept on doing this, I am not to blame for what I might do, I'm this close in throwing her teddy bear at the door.
"Just get lost. Daddy's supposed to play with me, we don't need you here!" She continued ranting.
I heaved out a sigh as I let her assault me with her pillow, all the while imagining Peter Pan taking her to Neverland and consoling myself that this is how kids normally behave these days. She wasn't at fault for my presence here, I'm sure her mother didn't bother calling Blake that they'll be landing in London and that she needs him to look after her child. I bet they were that close, okay stop right there, I shouldn't care.
A kick from my gut made me lose it, I doubled over in pain, Bianca sure knows how to kick. I furiously snatched the pillow away from her hands and glared at her intensely, counting 1 to 100 to calm myself.
Bianca looked guilty for a moment, her lips trembled slightly but she reigned it in and threw me her very own sneer. She launched herself at me without warning, making me lose my balance and took that opportunity to stradle and hit me again. The kid's seriously testing my patience.
I blocked her assault and tried to threaten her but she did not listen, the midget's laughing her ass off and even had the audacity to ride me like a horse- she sure was enjoying my misery.
I was surprised when she suddenly jumped off of me and sat on the floor on the same moment that the door opened. Blake smiled while carrying a tray but it was soon wiped out when Bianca's cry echoed.
"Waah!" Bianca deflected my hand as I tried to touch her, no matter how much she annoyed me I don't want her hurt.
"Hey it's okay. Did you hurt yourself?" I whispered frantically. She only cried all the more and ran away from me towards Blake.
Blake effortlessly swept her off her feet and cradled her in his arms. "What is it princess? Are you hurt?" I watched him place a kiss on her chubby cheeks, his eyes filled with worry. He's good with them, he'll be a brilliant father someday.
Bianca hiccupped and hid her head at the nook of his neck and what she said next shocked me to the core. "The lady there," her fingers pointing at my direction. "She hit me. I don't like her Daddy, make her go away."
