What did Jeanine want, I knew Tris was divergent, but what does jeanine want with her, and why did I need to hear it? Maybe she knows I am? Im really worried for Tris. What if something bad happens to her? No, I cant think like that. I scold myself silently as I walk back to the control rooms. When I walk in Zeke greats me with a smile by frowns when he see's me, "Dude, what happened" Im confused, I don't know what he's talking about. "you look like your about to murder someone" he says bewildered. "ha? No, sorry, I was just thinking..." I trail off and sit in my char. I scroll through the screens for a will until I get an idea. I check that no ones watching me, they're not, most of the people in the control room are bored out of their minds, Wills playing with his pencil and Zeke's asleep on his key bored. I go to the search bar on my screen and search up jeanine office. Dauntless are in charge of patrolling the city and a few years ago, the leaders decided it would be much easier if we had cameras all over the city so we didn't have to have people walking around the city day and night. As I click on the image to get a better look I see someone I didn't think would have to lay eyes on again. Marcuse. What the hell is he doing in Jeanines office? I put my headphones on so I can hear what they're saying. Jeanine is sitting at her large, emasculate, wight desk, talking to a very tense and annoyed Marcus. "jeanine, you said that If I helped you I would get-" he's cut off by Jeanine "yes, I know what I said, and you will get them, but this is a tedious proses, Im working on it right now actually" what does he want? I lean into the screen a little more so I can see whats on her computer screen, I zoom in. "now Marcus, you see there is no need for you to worry, I will keep up my end of the bargain, as long as you do your's" jeanine smirks. "we had a deal" Marcuse is almost whispering now, and I know from experience thats not a good sine, "yes I know that and I am upholding it." This cant be good, I think to myself. "now if you will excuse me I have other matters to attend to, as I'm shore you do as well." Jeanine stares from Marcuse, to the door, asking him to leave. He stands up rigged and walks over to the door. Then he's gown. I sit back in my char. What did I just witness? Jeanine and Marcuse? Working together? No; thats not possible, they HATE each other! Then it clicks. They have the same goal, thats the only reason they would work together. They might hate each other, but they would both do anything to get what they want. But the question it, What do they want? I need to find Tris.
