chapter 22 part 2

Zeke POV:

The door bursts open to reveal me and Four's, boss covered in water. That must be how Will splashed water on, Damn though, he looks pissed. Four and my faces drop. 'Shit! I can't loos my job.' I think to myself, and you can tell four is thinking the same thing. We all go silent. It's not Will or Tris's fault, it was just a really bad coincidence, in fact if it had been anyone ells I would have thought the dare was really funny. "Well, I was COMING to tell you that the votes are in and you might want to see this, but it SEEMS that I am now DRENCHED IN WATER!" He yells, frustrated. 'Shit.' Uriah and Mar start laughing and try to cover It up but do a terrible job. "umm... we're... ummm... sorry 'bout that, we'll be down to the pit in a minute." Four says trying to calm our boss down. He huffs in frustration and slams the door as he leaves. You can tell everyone is trying not to laugh. We wait till we can no longer hear his foot steps and we all let our laughter fill Uriahs apartment again. We all stand up to leave and see who got the job. As we are leave and head towards the pit, we get lots of smiles and thumbs up from people that I have never met in my life, I return some of there smiles with an awkward wave or grin, we get to the pit and look up at the glowing board with the results on it. What I see shocks me. Up on the screen there are four names light up.

O ZEKE PEDRAD

O TRIS PRIOR

O URIAH PADRAD

We all exchange looks of shock, we have all tied for the position. Now what do we do?

Uriah POV:

OMG! We are all gonna be dauntless leaders! This is gonna be so much fun!

Tris POV:

whAT! Why would I be voted into dauntless leader? Im new? I don't know much about dauntless and am still getting used to their culture and traditions? And there can only be one dauntless leader, so who's gonna take it? I don't really wan't to run dauntless, so I'm going to decline. That at least will make it easier for everyone to choose a leader.

Four POV:

No, No, No, No, No, No. I can't be a dauntless leader?! First of all, there can only be one leader, second of all, I cannot see my father. I will decline. I can't, I won't do this. I hope people will understand.

Uriahs POV:

We all walk up to the stage, with the gang smiling at us, but Zeke, Tris and Four all look worried. Why? We get to run dauntless together? We can change Training and refocus dauntless back to its original motto, and bring back the idea of ordinary acts of bravery, and the courage that drives a person to stand up for another. We get up to the stage and stand in a line as the old man, who is still drenched from Will splashing him starts to speak. "It seems that we have come to a draw. As you know there can only be one dauntless leader, so we will either have to do another vote with just these four, unless some of these people would like to resign." He finishes. 'What! Thats so sad, and stupid! I wanted to run dauntless with my friends, well this isn't going to be any fun.' As I am thinking this, Four and Tris step ford. They look at each other and have a silent conversation, damn, I can't wait to have that kind of relationship with Marlene, to be able to read each others thoughts buy just giving each other a look. Tris and Four both nod at each other. "We are both honoured to be elected for this position" Tris starts, "but we will have to decline. We don't wish to run dauntless." Four, finishes. 'They are so cute, finishing each others sentences, aghhhhh FourTris for life, they are my OTP, Now I know how Chris feels.' I have a mini fangirl attack mentally so know one sees. They both leave the stage, leaving myself and Zeke. "OK, Raise your hand if you want Uriah, here to run dauntless" the old man shouts. About 1/4 of the compound raises here hand. "Now, Who want Zeke to run dauntless?" The man shouts again, this time 3/4 of the compound raise their hand. "Ok, Zeke shall be our new leader. He will start tomorrow." He finishes. That was easy, I think I'm relieved I wasn't appointed, I would probably have done a terrible job. I shake hands with Zeke and walk off stage, my friends come running up to me patting my back. We all start chatting and laughing, congratulating Zeke on his new job. He seems exited. I'm happy for my bro. So much has happened in the past week! Four and Tris got kidnaped, TWICE, Chris told us she was pregnant, then we fond out Tris was pregnant, Zeke is the new dauntless leader! I got together with my life time crush, Marlene! I'm so exited to see what happens in the future!

Four POV:

We walk off stage as my boss starts explaining how we will decide who will be the new dauntless leader. "Raise your hand if you want Uriah, here to be the new dauntless leader" my boss booms over all the noisy dauntless. I love Uri but I don't think its a good idea to have him running dauntless. I don't raise my hand, I also don't really pay much attention to what the rest of the gang does. "Who wants Zeke to be the new dauntless leader?" This time I raise my hand. "Ok, Zeke will be the new dauntless leader. He will start tomorrow." He finishes. I'm so happy for him. He'll be good for dauntless, I can't wait to see what changes he makes, and how he runs things. I congratulate him but I have other things on my mind. I've been wanting to ask Tris this for a wile now, but just haven't gotten the chance, with everything thats been going on lately. I walk over to Tris and take her hand in mine. She looks up at me with her beautiful, striking grey-blue eyes. I kiss her softy on her head, leaning down. 'I'm going to ask her. I can do it. Ask her, you can do it.' I tell myself. I lean down a little further so my mouth brushes her ear. "I have something I want to ask you" I whisper so only she can hear. I pull back, as she gives me a playful, yet sceptical look. I grin and gently pull her away from the crowd. "What was it you wanted to ask me?" She says grinning, one hand on her hip. I look down at the ground, blushing furiously. 'Why am I blushing? I never blush! Why am I so nervous!!!" I question in my head. "I-I was wondering if you'd..." I stop and look up at her, I scratch the back of my neck; my tell tail sign when I'm nervous. "Spit it out already" Tris giggles. 'Her giggle is so beautiful' I think "thank you" she blushes. 'What? Did I say that out loud' I think. "Yes" Tris is now laughing, making me blush even more. "would you like to move in with me?" I ask looking into her pearlescent eyes. Her eyes widen and she jumps into my arms. "Yes, yes, yes I would love to" she kisses me on the cheek, I take my hand and place it just under her jaw, gently turning her head and kissing her on the lips passionately. "I love you" I whisper against her soft lips, "I love you to" she smirks, never pulling apart. I love this women, to the ends of the earth and I can't imagine life without her.
