Tobias POV:

I cant leave my job right now, I was just on my lunch break, and if I do leave they'll fire me. I'll have to wait till the end of the day, I can talk to Tris about what I just found at dinner.

*hours later*

The day was a blur. So much happened, jeanine broke into Tris' apartment, asked her for 'something', by which I mean the information that she is divergent, then I sore the meeting with Marcuse and jeanine. It all happened so fast, Im not paying attention when I walk to the cafeteria to get dinner, I just know that I have to see Tris and tell her about it.

I see Tris sitting with her friends, at their usual table. I walk over to them, "Hey, Four!" Uriah shouts, I just wave as everyone looks over to me, I look over to Tris, I star into her mesmerising grey-blue eyes, "Could I borrow you for a minute?" I ask, she looks at her friends and back at me, "Shore", I take her hand out of habit and we walk out of the cafeteria. We end up in an empty hallway, we haven't talk since the weird incident with Jeanine. "we need to talk" I say "ya" she says looking at the ground, its awkward but I don't know why, so I start, "when I was coming back from your apartment after we found jeanine trashing your apartment I went back to work right, and I decided to just check on jeanine and what she was doing..." I tell her everything I sore. She doesn't say anything the hole time and just nodes. Once I'm finished she looks at me directly in the eye, she's beautiful, "What was Marcuse doing making a deal with jeanine?" She finally asks, "I don't know, but he said he wanted something?" I reply. "what does he want though?" "I don't know" Is all I can say. "Tobias," she looks down at the ground "I'm scared" she says hugging herself, "of what?" I know its a stupid question, but some times its good to talk about this stuff, and I'm here to listen. "what if they wan't to hurt us? What if they want us dead?" I don't have an answer for that, she's looking at me now, I look at her with sensitive eyes, and bring her into a hug, she buries her face in my chest and I rest my head on hers, "I'm not gonna let that happen" I whisper "you shouldn't make promises you can't keep" she says, her voice muffled from my shirt. "but I can promise that" out of no were Tris pulls back and smashes her lips to mine, I return the kiss, it is full of passion, more certain, certain of what we are and what we're doing. And in that moment I know everything is going to be ok.
