Chapter thirteen:  Afterschool; propitious

Explanation: Jungkook had gotten sick therefore didn't come to the academy until he felt a bit better. Meanwhile, Y/N began to grow feelings for him in a short time spam considering how she prefers to be left alone by people but his charms REALLY caught her. And you could probably have guessed JK has a thing for her too.

Jungkook has had something strange happen to him recently. On top of his occasional feeling of tiredness, he started forgetting certain pieces of specific information and he realized it just recently, which is worrisome. . .

Author's P.O.V:

The same following day after school hours, Y/N walked to the room at the end of the hallway with a smile plastered on her face humming a little tune to herself as she kicked a few stones in her way.

"The sky is prettier now." She stated, referring to the same weather she thought was awful from this morning.

The cranky mood she had been in long disappeared from the moment she heard about the arrival of Jungkook. Finally reaching the classroom, she entered and put her bag down before observing it. From the corner of her eye, she could clearly see a black figure standing in the door frame.

"Hey there Y/N." hearing the sweet but deep voice her cheeks flushed and trying to hide it she didn't turn around to face him.

"What are you doing here?" she asked Jungkook.

"You're doing extra training I see." He said completely ignoring her question.

"Oh yea, ahm..I- train the school extra....." her tongue slipped and she was facing difficulty forming sentences.

"I...have something you call, an extra class." Deleting the previous sentences from her brain, which didn't seem to have helped her in any way, she chose a new group of words to go with.

"Well, I see. That's very impressive." He complimented making Y/N flustered and he didn't stop there.

"You see, it's hard to come across golden children like you who are gifted with such great passion to pursue what the love to do in a unique and loving way. I hope one day you achieve your dreams and get everything you want." He said in admiration.

Y/N was now facing and looking at him wide-eyed because what just happened, had never happened to her. Even if he just said that because of the nice soul he has, it meant a huge deal to the girl. No one has ever uttered to her something so honey-sweet and her body heated even more now after he smiled at her face. She was now getting lost in him and her vision became slightly blurry which to gain back she blinked a few times.

"Today did have something good in store for me, indeed." Her heart smiled.

Jungkook's P.O.V:

I looked in her round pretty and innocent circles which fluttered open close a few times and I could just faint there but to prevent any accidents happening I cleared my throat and bought up the reason why I'm actually here which also would work to change the topic.

"AheM~ so I wanted to tell you something right?" she flinched slightly because I started to speak breaking the quiet atmosphere out of the blue.

Standing straight she tucked a few hair strands behind her ear and nodded.

"This morning I was to inform you that Sir Bolin didn't make to mark his attendance."

"Does that mean he didn't come?? Today as well!?" the shy Y/N now replaced by an annoyed and irritated one instead.

"Ye-"

Not letting me complete my sentence, she stormed in anger complaining, "What is his problem? This is the sixth day in a row! He hasn't been showing up to train me and I can't go on like this. The teachers or should I say TEACHER, Miss Maria doesn't let me train alone cause "You can injure yourself" like heck she cares!! DO PEOPLE HATE IT WHEN I'M HAPPY DOING SOMETHING?"

Rolling her eyes she stopped to catch her breath and I just looked at her sadly. She's hurt.

I knew I shouldn't be doing this but I couldn't help myself seeing how her mood is not right and I don't even try to do anything about it. I walked up to closing the distance between us and rubbed my hand up and down in long strokes against her back in a soothing way.

I'm sure this was unexpected; for me too, but she turned her neck looking at my hand as if it's an alien and went all quiet again before closing her eyes. I chuckled an airy laugh at her cute expressions.

Y/N's P.O.V:

I closed my eyes, took in his scent which calmed me down. It was a delicate, bitter yet sweet fragrance. I was hit by his breath when he laughed sending shivers down my spine but in a way I liked it.

I liked how his hairs were slightly messy compared to this morning and exposed parts of his forehead. The way he looked at me in a sympathetic way like he actually cares...The way his lips always looked pillow-soft and cherry red.

"Hey I don't know if this is a piece of good or bad announcement for you but.. I'm responsible for training you every day after school." He was a little shy about it but he tried to hide it.

I slightly bit my lip as my heart jumped in my chest hearing the news he told me.
