Chapter Thirty: Unmatched

Name, Jeon Jungkook. human age, twenty-four.

"You are forbidden to utter such words. You are a disgrace." the lady with short black hair warned.

His reason for existence, protect Wang Y/N. He was her Guardian Angel, but he fell in love with her.

"Sending you down here again was a mistake." Ara said bitterly.

Ara, an angel, like Jungkook but oh so very different. She serves the ones who hold the highest-ranking above all, The Orchizen, the ones who maintain order in the world of Angels.

Jungkook's P.O.V:

I've known Y/N all her life. Seeing her grow up to become a beautiful woman; again.

"Jungkook. It can't be that you can fall in love, with the human girl. We must maintain order ." The Orchizen reasoned.

But I couldn't help and fall in deeper. Fall deeper in love with the pure innocent girl who was continuously being put to trial but she always fought back. Sometimes I used to wonder if all of this was because of me as it is forbidden to fall in love with humankind but I couldn't help and fall in deeper.

I pulled her closer holding her waist as we stood in a field of roses. Y/N wore a white dress and the happiest, purest smile. I connected my forehead with her, her chocolate brown hair which appeared to look golden because of the morning sun reflecting on it, who said out a little "I do." after which I placed my lips on hers. Faint claps were heard in the background, the guests all cheered for us as the newly wedded couple. I was the happiest man on Earth.

"You will be punished for defying the Rules of Order. You will not be allowed to step foot in Katharos. You need to clear your sins."

"Tststs. Look at what you've done. It is your fault Jungkook. You are the reason she will soon die. Don't worry I'll do you a favour. You can too die with your lover right here, right now."

"I have taken an oath and swear to protect her with my life."

"I'm really not interested in this. You disgust me." Ara's red stringy ball of energy flashed from her hands.

The trees are now still. The two groups who were in the middle of a battle now stood like statues on the ground (everything I need is On The Ground~). Her abilities allowed her to freeze everything Earthly for a short while. Ara's eyes turning white and she attacked with full force.

My eyes too changing, to a darker canary, blue ionizing electricity sparking within my veins which emit from the tips of my fingers. Ara was stronger than I was because of her position, but I was fighting for Y/n's protection and my love for her. Not for a second did I allow me to think I was going to lose her.

Something that I learnt from Y/N was to never give up. She became selfless when it came to fighting. I thought of all the hours spent by her side training her. I thought of her and she gave me strength. Not long after Ara fell on the floor before me, looking defeated. I took infuriated steps towards her, my mind incapable of thinking.

"She doesn't have enough time Jeon." Ara coughed out.

I went blank for a few seconds and then in an instant, I went up to my beloved, securely wrapping my arms around her body and picked her up (bridal style), I sprang open my wings and flew high above.

The gatekeeper looked at me confused with furrowed brows but slowly began opening the big metal doors. This is where my family is, but I haven't seen them in a long time because I am not allowed to show up to this place. Katharos, the place of the Pure.
