Seokjin sips his iced tea. Beside him sat a nervous Raven who just couldn't stop fiddling with her fingers. Seokjin observed her as she sipped on her own drink. She had a frown on her lips, a slight crease on her forehead as she was in deep thought, her already pale face was even paler, her long flowing raven hair a deep contrast to her skin and made it stand out even more. Her small frame was closed, posture stiff reflecting her inner turmoil. She sighed finally as her chocolate brown eyes gazed back at him.

"I didn't know what to do, Sunbae. And you were the only one I could think of." Seokjin shook his head. "It's fine Raven. You can call me whenever you want." He smiled at her kindly.

"Thank you. That means a lot to me."

"Raven I don't know why he reacted the way he did but it's not okay. He didn't hurt you or anything, did he?"

"No... he was not trying to hurt me. I- this so messed up. What happened to him?" Raven asks, still so confused at his earlier behavior. He felt like a whole different person.

"I can't say anything right now but if I got to know him somehow maybe I can figure it out," Seokjin replies, helpfully, wanting to do something for the troubled girl.

"You can? Really?" Her eyes lit up slightly and Seokjin knew he said the right thing.

"Yeah, and just from listening to it I don't think it's a simple matter." He observed.

"Thank you Sunbae, you are doing so much for me. I don't know how to thank you enough."

"Don't worry about it, Raven. I'm doing this for myself."

Walking back to her apartment she was glad she refused Sunbae's offer to walk her home. She wanted to be alone with her thoughts. Though it wasn't doing any good, she admitted that she was glad she talked to her Sunbae about it. Maybe it was one of the perks of being a Psychology student but she felt comforted every time she talked to him. Kicking a stray rock to the side of the road she walks down the lane to her building. The sky had already darkened as she expected. What she didn't expect was Jimin to be there, waiting for her, wearing a dark hoodie, leaning against the lamp post. Something stirred inside of her and Raven couldn't tell if it was fear, guilt, or something else. Jimin looked up as he heard her footsteps, "Ray..."

"I don't want to talk to you," Raven says her voice hoarse

"I don't want to talk to you," Raven says her voice hoarse. If he thought he could get away with acting so aggressively towards her with a mere sorry, he was wrong. She won't lose to him like that. She was not some kind of freaking toy he could play with. Best friend or not, none raised their voice at her. She moves out of his way and brushes past him but Jimin stops her, gently placing a hand on her arm. "Please, I didn't mean to do it. I'm sorry."

Raven chose to ignore him. Yeah..beg like that. She proceeds towards her apartment when his grip on her arm tightens, a quick tug on her wrist causes her to lose her balance and tumble back onto him. She gasped as she felt him wrapping her arms around her and she stiffened like aboard.

"Don't ignore me."

What the-

Raven stood there as still as a rock, her eyes the size of saucers. Her brain screamed at her to get out, slap him, or do something but all she could do was utter a few incomprehensible words. Her throat had gone instantly dry. Clearing her throat, she tried again. "W-why are you doing this Jimin? You c-can't tell me what to do." She tried pathetically to defend herself. Raven mentally scolded herself for being so senseless.

"I can." He stated simply.

"H-how can- you w-why-" She stuttered, not managing to get out a single word and Jimin cut her off. The next thing he said, made her heart stop.

"cause you are mine."

"What? Jimin if this is one of your sick jokes-"

"Shhh!" He placed a finger on her lips. "Stay quiet." He whispered, effectively shutting her up. Raven was flabbergasted. She couldn't comprehend what was happening.

"Atta girl." he compliments her as he gently pushes her forward, leading her further down the lane towards her house.

When they reach the front door he smiles and whispers goodbye. "I'll see you tomorrow, Ray."

That felt like a promise. A promise she wasn't sure she wanted to keep.
