Raven spent the night tossing and turning on her bed. Her mind whirred with thoughts and she tossed the blankets over her head in an attempt to shut the voices inside her head. It was no use. It was no surprise when Raven looked into the mirror, that morning and saw her eyes puffy and tired. Going through her morning routine mindlessly as if she were a robot, Raven manages to get dressed and she would have walked right into the wall twice had it not been for Alley who had then given her a quizzical look as she brushed her teeth. She wouldn't have classes until noon. Lucky her.
Raven opened the front door and allowed herself to stand there for a second feeling the cool morning air on her face. Maybe that will help her focus more. Closing her eyes she inhaled deeply feeling the chill of the September morning. When she opened her eyes, she saw Jimin standing there, arms crossed smiling. Raven had always felt that screaming was a waste of time and breath. She simply didn't see the point. To scream meant to show them that they got to you and Raven wasn't the type to do that. But that day she screamed.
"AAAAAHHHHHHHHHFKVLVKTGD!!!!"
Jimin grins, amusement glinting in his eyes and Raven's pale face turned a brilliant shade of red.
"Y-you? W-why are you here?" She asks, flustered and disoriented. Her brain can only handle so many surprises.
"I thought I would come to pick you up. Why? We do this often." He replies, still grinning like a Cheshire cat. Sure Jimin had come to pick her up for Uni often when they had classes at the same time but this was different and Jimin's sly smirk was not helping her at all. Raven's blush deepened.
"Let's go!" He declares, taking her hands in his, Jimin leads her out of the house, down the stairway where his car was parked. Raven noticed the way he was holding her hand, lacing his fingers through hers and she blushed even harder if that was even possible. Damn her pale face!
Trying her best to maintain a stone face Raven takes her seat on the front passenger seat. She had debated with herself whether she should try and sit in the back but she quickly thought against it. Jimin probably wouldn't allow her anyways. Jimin gets inside the seat and as soon as the door closes shut the seatbelt reminder of his car goes off. Oh shi*t! Raven had forgotten to put on her seat belt in her muddled state of mind. Jimin looks at her, then slightly he leans forward. Oh no, Raven thought, she had seen enough kdramas to recognize this cliche' scene.
"NO! No-no I'm fine! I got this!"
Raven squeals, frantically tugging at the seatbelt trying to get it quickly. Jimin smiles again. Tilting his head, he points towards the brown bag sitting on the dashboard in front of her seat. "I was just trying to move that out of the way."
Raven blinks. Oh...OH... Raven had been watching too many kdramas.
Jimin seemed like he was trying hard not to laugh. "Don't," Raven warns, and Jimin bursts out laughing, tinkling like the bells as his eyes closed and turn into crescents. Raven couldn't do anything but hang her head low in shame.
His laughter finally subsides as they pull out of the driveway, Jimin sneaks a glance at her. Raven sat there like a statue, eyes wide. He noticed that her shoulders were all the way up to her ears and she was intentionally avoiding his gaze.
"Oh my god, Ray! Just relax, I'm not going to do anything to you!" He exclaims half-smiling.
"I'm not too sure about that."
"Ouch, that hurt Ray." He informs her feigning like a betrayed puppy. That brought a smile to her face. "Good, " She murmured, slowly relaxing into the seat as she stared out of the window.
A few minutes later Jimin pulls the car into the University's parking lot. "We are here."
Getting out of the car, Raven stretched raising her hands above her head, stifling a yawn. "You don't look well-rested.""Thanks to a certain someone." She stated, dryly. Taking a step forward, Jimin cups her face in his hands, his hands warm against her skin, and places a gentle kiss on her forehead. The instant look of surprise and her tomato red cheeks looked adorable to him. "Don't talk to Seokjin, okay? In fact, don't talk to any other guys, hmm?"
Raven didn't know how to react to that. She wasn't used to physical intimacy and the touch left a foreign feeling against her skin. She couldn't name it. All she could do was utter, "This is so unlike you..."
"I've always been like this, Ray. You just didn't know it."
