Raven couldn't help but feel uneasy about her earlier disagreement with him. He was not convinced and somehow she ended up hurting him. The guilt was eating her up. She didn't understand why? Sighing, she moved on.
She was heading towards her current class when she heard the commotion in the hallway. Curious, she takes a detour to find out what it was all about. The crowd was gradually thickening near the end of the hallway and it seemed like there was a fight going on.

"You A**hole, How dare you?"

Slap

Seems like a typical couple's fight. She thought, pushing through the crowd.

"Baby, I swear to god, it was just a mistake! You know you are the only one for me, don't you?"

Someone got cheated on, I guess. Raven pushed aside the last person in front of her.

"Shut up! You worthless piece of sh*t! We are over now, do you hear me? WE ARE OVER!"

Raven's eyes widen and her breath hitches as she takes in the view. Betrayal and anger coursed through her and an involuntary gasp left her mouth as she whispered, "Robert?"

Robert stood there at the center of the crowd covering the side of his mouth that was turning a furious red. He looked up at the mention of his name and saw her clenching her fists, barely controlling herself from losing her temper. Robert gave her a sheepish look before he dashed off to catch up with his now ex-girlfriend. She felt anger coursing through her skin struggling to be let out but she couldn't. She couldn't lose her cool.

Raven looked up as the crowd started to disperse to meet Jimin's cold stare, from the other end of the crowd as he stared at her. After a long moment of silent cold gazing, he turned back and left.

She stood there trying to calm her racing heart. Whispers of rumors rose in volume all around her.

"I heard he cheated on her with five other girls."

"What a manwh*re."

"They have been dating since last semester."

"Wow, how could he do that?"

She felt sick. Why didn't she listen to him? He was right after all and the rumors existed for a reason. She let out an exasperated sigh as she ran into the nearest bathroom.

"Jimin, wait up!"

Raven yelled as she ran to catch up with Jimin. She realized for the first time how tall he actually was. Though his classmates did tease him for being short, he was a solid 5 inches taller than her. She shook her head internally at the thought. "Whoa, don't ever trust those mean Sunbaes again Jimin. To me, you are as tall as the Eiffel tower." She exclaimed as she caught up to Jimin, huffing and panting. Jimin acted as if he were unaware of her presence. That hurt, nevertheless Raven rambled on, "You can't trust your sunbaes either way. They are so cunning, I learned that the hard way." When she still didn't receive any response from him, she stopped and caught his arm. Jimin turned back, eyes wide but his stone-cold face soon replaced the mild surprise.

"Sorry," Raven apologized quietly, her eyes downcast.

"For what?"

"For making you upset" A long pause. It did nothing to relieve her guilt. Raven was a toxic friend. She never asked Jimin if something was going on. She couldn't be there for him. She was cowardly but Jimin still stayed with her.

You don't deserve him. You are so selfish.

I know.

She bit her lips in anticipation waiting for him when the notification bell on her phone went off. She scoffed at the name that shone on her screen. "He doesn't know how to take a hint, does he? That As*hole is still sending me texts even though I've told him to stop."

Jimin swiftly took the phone from her hand, blocked the number, and deleted the chat.

"This is how you move on." He replies, handing her phone back. She stared at him wide-eyed.

"D-does that mean you are not upset with me anymore? Are we cool?"

He dramatically sighs, finally acknowledging her presence. "Fine," he utters as if it were the biggest decision of his life. Raven rolls her eyes at the dramatics but eventually smiles, relieved that he was talking to her again. It felt like a weight being lifted off her and Raven watched the cherry blossoms fall from the nearby trees, her heart finally at ease. All of a sudden, it didn't feel so bad, the whole Robert catastrophe. Maybe it was for the best. But nothing else mattered to her at that moment she was walking with Jimin. She felt happy and she wondered if it would last long...

It should have been obvious.
