It was one week after that awkward encounter in the bedroom. You felt bad for not continuing but you just couldn't. You weren't ready.Work throughout the week was relatively easy. There was no case and you got to relax and focus on paperwork.
Your phone buzzed. It was a number you didn't recognize so at first you didn't answer. Ultimately, you picked it up. You stepped away from your desk so no one else could hear. Your eyes fell as the voice on the other end spoke. You suddenly felt like you couldn't breathe and after 3 minutes you hung up. You leaned against the wall for support.
You shook your head and regathered yourself. Just get through today you told yourself.
You went to get some coffee and Emily walked in shortly after. She greeted you with a "Good morning!" Waiting for you to finish.
"Hey Emily, wanna gather the girls and get a drink? I'm sorry about last time. It won't happen again." She looked up as she stirred her coffee.
"Hell yeah I'm down, you know I always am. It's okay y/n, are you sure you're up for it?"
"Yeah I am, 7pm?"
"Alright! I'll tell JJ." You nodded.
"I'll tell Garcia."
You both exited and you went to find Penelope. She was ecstatic to hear that you wanted to go.
"Oh my god, yes! Let's do it. Tonight!"
"Alright 7pm."
That time rolled around fast. You were all too tired to change so you went in your work clothes. Spencer kissed you before leaving the BAU. "Are you sure you want to go out?" He asked cupping your cheek. He was checking up on you again.
"Yeah." You nod. Part of you wanted to go home and be with him but you still felt embarrassed about last week.
The cab dropped you all off and you started out with shots. By the end of the night you were all drunk but you could still walk, to an extent. You all laughed and walked arm in arm out of the bar as 4 men tried picking you all up at the same time. You all flashed your badges and they backed away. It was hysterical.
You called a cab for yourself and made your way back to Spencer's. You still never went back to your apartment, even after the yellow tape was torn off. You didn't feel safe there anymore.
When you entered his apartment he sat on the couch reading one of his many books. He looked up and smiled at you.
"I was actually just about to shower but if you want it-" When he noticed you were drunk he got up and went over to you.
You pulled Spencer even closer. You started to kiss his neck and you slowly reached for his belt. He kept his hands away and backed up.
"Y/n you're drunk." He didn't want to cross your boundaries. He kept his hands raised and you moved your face closer to his.
"I know." Your eyes locked with his. You grabbed one of his arms and placed it on your hip. "We could always share the shower." You suggested.
You walked him to the bathroom and closed the door.
"I don't want to take advantage of you y/n. If you feel that you owe me this from last week you don't." Your lips hovered over his and he stopped talking. He reluctantly swallowed.
"I'm ready." His eyes looked down on you and you went for his belt again. He didn't move. You helped him out of his clothes and ordered him to turn the shower on and wait. He smirked and obliged.
