Several months later you celebrated your 27th birthday and 1 year anniversary. Last year was crazy for you both but now you could start again, hopefully a good year.

You both walked through the BAU giddy with excitement. You couldn't wipe the smile off your faces. Before you could tell them the news you both had to get ready for the softball game. Derek made both you and Spencer practice for the game he officiated. Spencer wasn't as good as you were but he tried.

The softball game was against the local police and you couldn't afford to lose was what Derek told you. You French braided your hair the previous night to prepare. You all dressed into your blue outfits and walked out. You applied black face paint in the car.

During the drive, he gave you all some pre game pep talk.

"God shut it Morgan." Emily spoke. You all laughed.

"We are winning this game." He told you.

The first inning could've gone better. You had the bases loaded and 2 outs. Spencer was up to bat but he didn't hit the ball. He struck out.

"It's okay baby." You would tell him. You put your hand on his chest and rubbed up and down to comfort him.

The game went on and the local police were up by 1. You were up to bat and they pitched it to you, nice and soft because they thought you couldn't play. They yelled "move up" so you took that as a challenge and swung with all your might. It went out over all their heads and past the fence, home run. You sprinted around the bases and stuck your tongue out and pointed at the second and third basemen as you passed by them.

The whole team cheered and slapped you on the back as you returned to the batting cage. The looks on the police officers faces were priceless.

In outfield you and Spencer would just mess around. He would try to slap your ass with the glove when you tried to play.

"Can you stop. We need to win." You laughed.

"Come on y/n, you think we have a chance?" He breathed. The bright sun baked you all alive. The sweat dripped down your faces, slightly ruining your face paint.

"Of course we can win." He went for you again and dodged him. You pulled him into a kiss and he cupped your cheek with his open hand.

"Come on lovebirds! Focus on the game!" Derek yelled from the pitchers mound.

You smiled and pushed him away. He laughed and mocked Dereks voice. You giggled. Derek shook his head and turned forward.

2 outs, 9-9, tie game. Last inning. Spencer was up to bat.

"You got this!" Derek yelled.

He swung.

Strike.

He swung again.

Strike.

It was all or nothing. He looked back and you gave him a thumbs up. Derek mimicked swinging at a baseball and yelled "Get out of your head Reid! Just feel it."

He shook his head. "Just feel it." He muttered.

The pitcher threw the ball and

Crack!

He hit the ball and it went flying. The police scurried about to try and get it. The team yelled at him to run and he looked over and dropped the bat. He ran all around the bases and home run! 10-9, FBI.

You all flooded out of the batting cage and hugged him. "That was amazing." You told him before flicking his baseball cap up out of his face and kissing him.

After you pulled away Derek picked him up on his shoulders and cheered his name. Spencer couldn't stop smiling. You all walked off the field hollering while the police kicked at the sand in defeat.

You all went to get drinks.

"For pretty boy!" Derek yelled. They all clanked their shot glasses together and drank. You didn't. Yours stayed on the table. When they noticed, Spencer put his hand around your shoulder.

"Sunshine..." Derek asked.

You bit your lip. "I can't drink because I'm pregnant."

Their mouths fell open. Derek was the loudest out of all of them.

"Oh my god! Congratulations!" He hugged you both. They all congratulated you and gave you a toast.

The wish Spencer had on his birthday was the gift of another child. It came true.
