CHAPTER-8

-One week later-

Whenever I would try to bring the subject from that night about Sana, chaeyoung would always run away, she keeping something for sure.

Today I have to go visit Itaewon pub and do a live stream for marketing purpose, the pub was doing well, I have been lacking sleep the whole week, I was thinking about Sana, just Sana, what is she? where did she come from? why was she mentioned in a place like that? and most importantly why didn't I fire her...yet?.

I was losing my mind so I kept myself at work even slept in my office, but today I went home took a shower put on some casual clothes, got in my car, and left for Itaewon,

I had this weird feeling about seeing Sana, should I ask her about it or not? Then the night comes to my mind as to how she looked, helpless, and starving as if she was done with everything, done with life,.

I finally got there at sharp z5, entering the pub I arranged my thoughts and took a deep breath''Anneyounghaseeyo sajangnim'' greeted the manager, it was still 5 pm so there were only two customers, '' Good evening, I will be doing a live stream to promote our pub tell everyone in case they get disturbed'' I informed the manager and took the stairs.

There is a second floor, like a balcony, but you can see the first floor from there, I sat there, taking my notebook out, and started writing the sequence, how I will start? then the subject topic I will bring next, I looked around the pub, resting my chin on my fist, then looked down to the first floor,

It's her, I thought,

She came out with the order, placed it on the table, and told them to enjoy,

she was in a skirt, a vest along with a white shirt, she stopped in the middle of her walk,

Lifted her chin, meeting my eyes, this was the first time I didn't flinch, looked straight into her eyes, I have been thinking about her the whole week all I have met someone like her so mysterious and quiet, she is quieter than an introvert and now It feels like I know her, she is not some stranger who can make me uncomfortable with her presence anymore,

I wanted to ask about that but right now is not a good time.

''So this is the last 5 minutes I will introduce you guys to the people whom you will be meeting when you visit our pub'' I introduced everyone except for sana, she wasn't around, I tried to find her and went all over the places ''Now it's time to go hope you guys will soon visit our pub with your family and friends bye take care soon you soon!'' I sigh, it always makes me nervous I should be getting used to it now but still, I feel anxious.

''Good job guys!'' and applaud them, we treat our employees like a family member ''Dinner on me tonight anywhere you want'' I said and hearing that all of them jumped in excitement which made me smile, it was already 6:30 pm and I have my laptop with me so I will work on the rooftop till the closing of the pub.

I asked mark to get me a table and chair, I bought my laptop from my car and going to the rooftop, Placing my laptop on the table, feeling the weather, It was good and chill, there were lights which made it more beautiful, I heard the door opening,

Sana came out from her room when she saw me, she stopped ''where were you? I wanted to introduce you to the rest of the staff on the live stream?'' I asked, she was still holding the doorknob ''I took a nap, I was having a headache'' she said and left with a bow ''what is up with her?'' I mumbled.

It was 9 pm, I was still on the rooftop, going through the proposal, I will be presenting in the quarterly shareholder's meeting which was coming up soon, it's the most stressful time, Jeongyeon unnie must be going through all the financial statements, same with chaeyoung, she must be working on her department's report to present.

I stretched getting up and sigh, I went near the fence to have a look outside ''there are so many people I think it will take them longer'' I mumbled and went back to work, after a few moments, I was dozing off from my chair and saw someone familiar before me standing with something in her hands

''This is for you'' She was sana, I blinked a few time and stretched my hands to take the glass ''Thank you'' I said, she gave me a slight bow and was about to move when I couldn't hold up on myself ''Sana! - shi!'' god what just happened, did my just mouth slipped, she looked at me ''will you stay for a moment'' I asked her hoping that I could get some answers from her about the nightclub, ''Actually, it's crowdy in the club and there are so many customers'' she said, I nod ''but'' hearing that I looked up ''if you want.... after my shift'' she said softly

''Alright, thank you for this'' I said raising the glass ''Sana where were you manager is looking for you come on we need hands!'' said mark calling Sana, she followed him behind giving me a bow leaving.

'so she bought the juice, I thought the manager sent her' I finished the juice and started working again, I like it here for some reason working outside in a natural atmosphere, I mostly spend my day in air conditioner rooms which is not healthy but it is what it is.
