Lance's POV

It's been awhile. Sorry about that; heh. It's been a week since Keith left and I don't think I can take being away from my baby for that long. He and Shiro had to go on a mission to save some slaves from a Galra cruiser. I hope they're both okay, but mostly Keith. Yeah, I hope Shiro is okay too but not as much as Keith.

I miss him dearly and when he comes back I'm gonna hug him so tight that he'll have to beg me to let him go. I feel myself smiling at the thought and I'm not gonna lie, I would be murderer if someone hurts my baby. I would give him all that he desires, and all I want in return is his love and affection. Cheesy, I know.

But I-

"Lance!"

I looked up from my journal and saw Pidge frowning. That isn't a good look on her. "What's up?" I asked as I put my journal down. She just gestured for me to follow her and that I did. We walked in silence as we made our way to the main deck. "Something happened?" I asked her with a concern look. She just stared down and didn't answer me. Did something happen on the mission? Did something happen to my baby?

The main deck doors flew open and there stood Allura, Coran, and Hunk. They all gave me a sympathetic look. "What's up?" I asked again. I'm actually getting pissed. No one is telling me shit. I feel some type of way.

"Shiro and Keith..They.." Allura whispered the last bit. "What?" I cocked a brow, "Can't hear ya princess." I chuckle nervously.

She just sighed and Coran pressed play and a screen appeared. "Allura, I don't think me and Keith will make it back so when you get this tell the others we'll miss them!" Shiro yelled. They heard a grunt before Keith shouting Shiro's name. Then the audio cut out and a video screen showed up. "Shit. I don't know how much time we have left, but I'm gonna have to make do. Me and Shiro were able to put the slaves in a pod and send them to your coordinates. Me and Shiro will be fine. If we don't make it back I just want to say We love you guys. And Lance, I love you baby. Thank you for the love you gave me."

I felt tears welling in my tears. It burned. Fuck. No. This can't be the end. He's injured, and I'm doing nothing about it! I balled up my fists and felt the hot tears flow down my cheeks. He heard Keith let out a dry chuckle. "I don't know where our lions are and I'm hoping the Galra don't got them." Keith looked around and helped Shiro up. "This is a terrible way to die." He laughed. "I didn't even get to hear Lance's stupid flirt he had for me before we left."

"That's what you're worrying about?" Shiro snorted. "Hell yeah, I love my baby's stupid flirty jokes."

I smiled and sniffled. "They love you too mi amor." I whispered and felt a bunch of arms wrap around me. They were warm arms. It brought me joy. Still can't believe they are fucking joking at a time like that.

"There's black." Keith pointed. Shiro hummed and limped to his Lion. "Okay guys, we'll possibly be back. I don't kno-" The camera fell and Shiro yelling Keith's name was echoing through the halls.

A puddle of blood was the last thing seen before the video cut off. "N-No." I stuttered as I squirmed my way out of everyone's grasp. "K-Keith." I whimpered. "M-Mi amor."

"KEITH!"
