Sunghoon pulled his hand away from Jake's.

"Why'd you do that?" He whined, glaring at his friend.

"Because you aren't making the first step, so someone has to," Jake replied, laughing at him.

Sunghoon looked down at his phone, looking again at the picture Jay had just posted. He held it up, showing Jake. "See? Don't they look like more than friends?"

"If you're so concerned about that, why don't you just ask?" Jake said, shrugging. "Hey-"

"Stop that!" Sunghoon whispered, putting a hand over Jake's mouth and stopping him from calling out to Jay.

"So then what are you going to do?" Jake asked, pushing away Sunghoon's hand. "How are you ever going to ask her out if you can't even talk to her and be her friend?"

Sunghoon sighed. "I guess I'll just try to forget about her quickly."

"That's a good idea," Jake said. "To be honest, I don't really know what you saw in her in the first place. Is she even that pretty, or smart-"

"Hey!" Sunghoon snapped, glaring at Jake. "What do you mean, she's not that pretty? She's the most beautiful girl in the whole school, I think. And she's smart, she's even tutored kids before! Plus she's really kind and just has the sweetest personality," he insisted, feeling himself getting flustered just thinking about her. "And..." he said, trailing off as he saw the triumphant question on Jake's face.

"See!" Jake exclaimed, laughing. "You like her so much. Ha. You said you'll just try to forget about her."

Sunghoon blushed, looking away. "Oops, I've been caught," he muttered sarcastically, looking down at his watch. "I have to go to work," he said, starting to run towards the gate. "I'll see you tomorrow!"
