"Hi Sunghoon!" Nari called out, bouncing over to him and sitting at the chair in front of him and Jake. "How are you today?"

He tried and failed to bite back the giddy smile that came to his face. "Hi Nari," he said, feeling himself blush.

Jake looked between the two of them in confusion. "Did I miss something? When did you two become friends?"

"We've been friends for ages," Nari joked, winking at them.

Jake looked at the two of them again. He scratched his head, "huh?"

"My little sister started taking ice skating lessons yesterday," Nari explained.

Jake raised his eyebrows, turning to look at Sunghoon suggestively. "Oh really?"

Sunghoon resisted the urge to slap his friend.

"Seems like fate, doesn't it?" Jake continued, grinning at the two of them, his eyes teasing.

Sunghoon struggled to keep his face straight and tried to come up with a response, but was saved when Jay walked into the classroom.

"See you later," Nari whispered, running over to Jay without sparing them a second glance.

As soon as she left, Sunghoon slapped Jake's shoulder. "What were you doing just now?" He whispered.

"I was just saying," Jake whined, glaring at him. "It does seem like fate. You'd been planning to speak to her at school, but you couldn't, so fate brought her to you at the ice rink."

"Fate brought us together," Sunghoon whispered, glancing over at Nari. "That sounds romantic."
