Chapter 5

Chu knocked on the door, Yunlan slowly opened the door and peeked out "The car is ready, we will drop you to your house" he nodded and followed Chu outside.

"Ahmm... Chu, where is your Master? Is he not gonna come to greet me goodbye?" Yunlan looked around as there was no sign of Shen wei.

"Master went out for some urgent business, I apologize on his behalf. Master asked to make sure you reach home safe and sound" Yunlan nodded at Chu. He felt sad that he could not see Shen wei before he left this place.

Shen wei looked out from his study room window and saw Yunlan getting in the car. He wanted to go meet him and hug him and ask him to stay and not leave but he couldn't. His self control always wavered when he was near him. If he went to meet Yunlan now he will drag the Omega back to the room and lock him in. He did not want Yunlan to hate him. He decided to wait and make him his by courting him properly.

[Meaning of Courting: Courting is a serious commitment you are making to get to know a Omega with the intention of the relationship leading into marriage]

They settled in the car and sped towards Yunlan's home. After some time they reached a calm neighborhood and stopped in front of a two storey house. Yunlan thanked Chu and ran towards his house eager to meet his parents.

Yunlan rang the doorbell, the door was opened by a beautiful lady with short curly hair and fair white skin same as Yunlan's. But we could see the stress and tiredness on her face.

"MOM! ..." Mrs Zhao widened her eyes seeing her son who was missing for 2 weeks in front of her. Her face brightened and she hugged Yunlan and started bowling her eyes out. Mr Zhao came out of the house hearing his wife's cries. As he saw his son in his wife's embrace he stood frozen in his place.

Mrs Zhao pulled Yunlan inside the house and they sat in the living room couch. She started examining Yunlan desperately crying. He smiled and tried to calm his mother. Mr Zhao patted his shoulder and a small tear glistened his eyes, himself glad that his son is now home safe with them.
Mrs Zhao calmed down in Yunlan's embrace suddenly they heard the door opened and closed. They looked towards the door and saw Yanli looked at them stunned.

She dropped her bag and ran towards Yunlan "Di Di! Oh my god you are back. What happened? Are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere? Where were you all these days tell us?"

"Jie Jie, calm down breath slowly! I will all tell you what happened but first.."He looked at his mother "Mom I am hungry can we have our dinner first?"

"I am soo sorry, you must be tired and hungry come on come on, the food is ready. After dinner you can tell us all that happened to you" Mrs Zhao hurried towards the kitchen to set the table.

After having a hearty meal they gathered in the living area again and waited for Yunlan to share his experience "I was kidnapped when I was returning from the part time job I was sedated with drug so that my heat can come out before the time. I was supposed to be sold as a slave to some Alpha. There were many Omega's with me. But on the way we were rescued by a group and they took us to their hideout and waited until our heat calmed down. After I recovered they dropped me back home"

"Oh my god, my Baby had to face such cruel people. Do you know where you were taken we would like to thank the person who saved you" said Mrs Zhao.

Yunlan facepalm himself he forgot to get any contact number from Shen wei, now how will he give him a treat he promised. He cursed his own stupidity. He lost all contacts with Shen wei. He felt sad and frustrated.

Mr Zhao saw his son's change in expression "Son did the Alpha who saved you did anything to you when you were in your heat stage?"

"No dad, even though he was an Alpha he controlled himself a lot and he said he will never hurt any Omega's. He is a nice man dad "Yunlan said excitedly.

Mr Zhao raised his eyebrow at his son's excitement "You hated all the Alpha's Yunlan how come this particular Alpha is different and you are also praising him. You never praised your Alpha friend either"

Yunlan blushed hard and stuttered "Wh-What! No I did not praise him. I told you what I saw. Maybe not all Alpha's are bad. You know dad why I hate the Alpha's for what they did to me in high school. But this guy is different he might be a change for my vision on Alpha's".

Mr Zhao saw his son and understood. He is an Alpha himself and the reaction he got from his son whenever he spoke of this particular Alpha screams 'Mate'. It looks like he need to meet this Alpha who brings out such expressions on his son's face.

"Dad! can I settle in my room I am tired".

"Sure, son go on in and settle down. We will talk to you tomorrow"

As Yunlan was making his bed he heard a knock and his Jie Jie came in "Di Di can I talk to you for a second".

"Sure Jie Jie come in".

"So tell me about this Alpha you are cussing about".

Yunlan avert his gaze "Wh-What are you talking about Jie Jie?"

"Little brother do not try to act innocent with me. I am your Jie Jie and I know you very well. Tell me what is his name and who is he?" Yanli jutted.

Yunlan signed "Alright!"

She waited for her brother to speak "His name is Shen wei, I do not know who he is, he took us to a mansion. Many people work under him with guns. He is their Master and they respect him. He looks like he is from high class and rich"

Yunlan took a breath "I feel different around him lie Jie my hormones goes haywire, when he comes near me my breath hitches. When I do not see him my chest pains. When he smiles by heart stops. I get an unbearable urge to touch him give myself to him shamelessly. I don't know what is wrong with me"

Yanli just smiled at her brother's innocent rants "Little brother the emotions you are feeling now is when you feel when your mate is near you. When you find your mate you will feel like you are finally home now You will feel as if you finally found your other half."

"When you feel a mate's connection it's instant and you couldn't be more sure about it in your mind" she smiled " But Di Di, I am only worried about one thing you said they carry guns with them. What if they are bad people and you know you have phobia of guns and gunshots"

Yunlan looks at her face with worried expression "I did have an episode when I saw the guns but I immediately calmed down when my would be mate pulled me in his arms and helped me. They might be bad peoples but you said a mate can change his partner if they are fully bonded. I will help Shen wei change. I have never felt this strong emotion towards anyone. I may have even responded back to his scent. He is my mate Jie Jie. Please help me in finding him" Yunlan pleaded.

'Mate huh!' Yanli smirked "Okay! I will help you. But now go to sleep and do not worry. If he is really your mate and he feels the same he will come looking for you instead" she smiled and pecked his forehead before moving out of the room.

'Shen wei! if you hurt my little brother again this time you are so dead in my hands'

Yanli met her dad on the way "So what we thought was right?" Mr Zhao questioned

"Yes dad he found his mate".

"What's his name?".

"We might have a small problem. Di Di's mate is none other than Shen wei, Mafia Boss of Shen family".

"Oh my god! Why him again I cannot let this happen he will kill my son again" Mr Zhao panicked.

"Dad! We cannot do that, they are mates how long do you think you will separate them, they will meet each other again in the future. I will protect my brother dad, Trust me!"
