My precious "MATE"

Chapter 26

It's been a 3 weeks after his kidnapping incident. He had now moved into Shen wei's home as he is now his mate. If he remember correctly his parents were shocked to know that they have mated and performed the sacrificial bonding. All took it well and congratulated us except my dad who was pissed off. It took me a lot of time to convince him.

I had only 3 months to graduate from college so moving in with my mate was better as we could not stay away from each for longer time. I am now officially a member of Shen family and I am happily married. Well mating means marriage, but we never had a marriage ceremony as normal people.

'Shit' is what Yunlan feels like at this moment as he lies in bed. His stomach hurts, and he feels uneasy. He could feel a headache coming on. His mate had left for work about an hour ago worried for the Omega, but Yunlan had assured him he was fine and he'd call if something went wrong.
Yunlan rolled over in bed and buried his face into Shen wei's pillow, deeply inhaling it and feeling himself calm a little bit.

Suddenly the omega shot out of the bed, and ran into the bathroom. He let it out, throwing his breakfast into the toilet bowl.
Yunlan hated this feeling. He didn't like throwing up, or being sick in general. He hated that Shen wei had to take care of him when he can do most things on his own, like get the medicine or a bowl of soup. Yunlan hated this. He finished, and brushed his teeth afterwards. Going to lay back down in bed, he flopped onto it and cuddled his husband's pillow until the scent lulled him to sleep.

It was the 3rd day and Yunlan is still sick. Shen wei was starting to worry even more and called Chu to cancel the meeting. Yunlan tried to convince him that he was fine and that he needs to go attend the meeting, but Shen wei wasn't having any of it. Yunlan woke up from a medicine induced nap, and had an itch. He was familiar with this kind of itch so he immediately got up and started gathering clothes, and spare blankets. He had an itch to start nesting right away.

[Nesting is what omegas do, usually only when they're pregnant or in heat, and sometimes when they're stressed or need comforting. It's basically a big pile of blankets, pillows and soft things that they can cuddle in to and relax.]

The nest consists of mainly Shen wei's things: shirts, pants, socks, and Yunlan is sure he threw in a pair of boxers. Once his nest was almost done, Shen wei began to stir and wake up.

"What are you doing, baby? Are you okay?" The alpha said groggily. He let out a loud yawn, and sat up.

"Can you move? Please?" Yunlan said instead of answering his questions. He tried to be as polite as possible, but every second that Shen wei sat there the omega got more agitated.

Shen wei immediately figured out what was wrong, and quickly but carefully got out the bed. He didn't want to irritate Yunlan further. A nesting and irritated omega was fun for no one.

"There. Done." Yunlan was satisfied with his work finally. He felt his stomach hurt again, so he quickly made his way into the nest. He laid down, and sighed in content from the scents that filled his nose.

"Do you need anything, baby? I'll stay out of the room if you need me to" Shen wei stated, putting on a shirt.

"You can stay here. I just don't want you in the bed" Yunlan replied, then his eyes went wide. He quickly added, "Sorry! That sounded so mean! I didn't mean it that way!"

Shen wei simply smiled at his lover, and shook his head in dismissal. "It's fine, babe. I get it. I'm here if you need anything"

For the rest of the day, the couple had talked, laughed, and ate whatever Shen wei made. By the time it was nightfall, and the two were growing more sleepy, Yunlan had invited Shen wei into his nest. Shen wei had asked to make sure it was really okay, and the younger insisted, claiming he missed his lover's touch.
