Chapter 19

Yezun's POV :

Mr and Mrs Zhao came to our Mansion as soon as they heard about Yunlan. He was layed down in one of the guest room in the house as he was still unconscious.

Then we heard horns of car repeatedly. We all looked at each other and ran downstairs. Our men's were carrying someone in their arms. When we went near and saw my Gege bloodied and looked lifeless.

"Master, we need medic he is hit on the head. Please hurry" shouted Chu.

I immediately acted and ordered them to take Gege to his room. As I was examining him the door burst open and Yunlan rushed inside looking for his mate.

"Wei!" Yunlan ran towards Gege and climbed on the bed, holding his shoulder and shaking him awake. Dad and Mr Zhao had to hold Yunlan and pull him away from Gege. Yunlan was frantic and crying. He was desperately trying to reach his mate. We could see Yunlan's eyes turning golden as his beast was trying to come out.

"Yezun! Hurry up and treat your Gege's wounds, I will not be able to hold Yunlan's beast for much more longer"

I being an expert was able to treat Gege's wounds. He got 7 stitches on his head and ointment for the swelling on his body parts. As soon as I was done, dad let go of Yunlan and he climbed on the bed lying down beside Gege.

We could hear Yunlan whimpering and groaning at Gege. His beast was out and knows his mate is hurt and trying to comfort him. "Yunlan do not worry, Gege is fine and he will regain consciousness by tomorrow. You too should go to sleep".

Yunlan nodded and purred, snuggling to Gege and burying his head beside Gege's scent gland. We all let them to rest and left the room. We needed answer as to why was Gege in that state.

When we went downstairs we saw Chu kneeled down in his knees and had his eyes casted downwards for what happened. I went ahead and sat on the sofa and crossed my legs getting attention.

"So Chu, care to tell me why Gege came back in such a state, when no one can touch a single hair on 'The Dragon"

Chu took a deep breath and narrated the whole story that took place. We also explained on how Wen Chao was hiding in his study as if waiting for Shen wei to come in. He also gave a point on there might be a mole in the household who gave our plans to Wen Chao.

After listening to Chu we all were in deep thoughts "So dad, looks like we have a traitor with us".

I glanced at each one of them and when my eyes met a particular maid she flinched. I narrowed my eyes and spoke "I know who is that person who betrayed us, I would like it if that person willingly stepped forward before I myself make them to".

After some time, a maid slowly stepped forward fidgeting terrified. "YOU! How dare you betray us. You bit the hands that fed you, Shameless person. You have no right to live"

"Dad, calm down I am sure she has her reasons. So tell us, why did you do this"

The maid immediately fell on her knees and begged for mercy "Master! I had no intention to betray you. I have lived here for 20 years now, I would never imagine to betray you.

"Then tell us why did you do it, how did you tell Wen Chao our plans" asked Mr Shen.

"Master I am just a mere puppet for Wen Chao. He kidnapped my children and used them against me. He asked me to install a hidden camera in your office so that he can listen to all your plans"

"I did it just to save my children from that devil, please forgive me Master" the maid bowed for forgiveness.

Mr Shen signed "You all can leave and continue with your work. You tell us where did you hide the camera"
