Chapter 16

Shen wei was walking towards his father's study room in their Mansion. Its been a week after the party, he and Yunlan have become closer to each other. They meet whenever they are free and always text Good Night's and Good Mornings. He loved his life.

He knocked on the door, he heard his father's strict voice "Come in".

"Father you called for me?".

"Yes, first have a seat".

As Shen wei took a seat Mr Shen spoke "I have a mission for you"

"Mission?" Shen wei was surprised "Dad you never gave me any mission's. What is about this mission that needs my personal assistance?"

"I want you to infiltrate the Wen family mansion and put some mini camera's in Wen Yao's study room. He is plotting something against us and I want to know what is it", he took a deep breath "I do not trust anyone to do this matter. This matter means very important to me. I want you and Chu to go together".

"Okay father if you think this is important to you than I will do it tonight. I cannot wait for few days. They will not expect it if I do it sooner."

Mr Shen nodded "Also, you need to come back safely. You remember right, your brother is coming home in few days. You need to meet him"

"Yes, father I know. I will be careful and come out without a scratch"

Shen wei left his father study with a file about the mission and drove to his mansion. After he reached home he went to his study room and called Chu in. He told Chu about the mission and his plans for tonight to follow.

Before he can move with the plan he had a very big responsibility. He needed to convince Yunlan for a absence of 3 days. It's hard to stay away from his mate but he needed to do this mission as it was requested by his father.

----Phone Call----

"Hello Wei"

"Hey Kitten, miss me?"

"Yes I do" Yunlan whined.

"Baby we just met today morning" Shen wei said chuckling.

"I know, but I still miss you. I cannot stay away from you for a minute"

"I am sorry Kitten"

"Why are you sorry Wei" Yunlan asked confusingly.

"I guess we will have to stay away for 3 more days"

"WHAAAT WHYYYYYY" Yunlan screamed.

"I am going away on a mission for 3 days. My father gave me a task and I cannot refuse it"

"Whaat.... 3 days, but Wei you know I will miss you"

"I know Baby, I will miss you too. But this has to be completed. Do not worry I will come back in 3 days. I promise"

"Then, take me along with you"

"Yunlan, it's dangerous. I cannot take you with me"

"Better reason to not go, since it's dangerous"

"Yunlan, you know this is my work right. I cannot refuse my dad"

"Why do you have to do such dangerous jobs when you have a mate? What if something happens to you? What will I do?"

"Kitten, You know how strong I am. Nothing can happen to me"

"When are you leaving"Yunlan asked sadly.

Shen wei took a deep breath "Tonight".

There was no response from the other end. "Kitten?"

"Kitten? Can you hear me?"
