I woke up like any other day; knowing that I was running out of time. "If only I can magically disappear," I mumbled. I didn't want to trouble my aunt, who was struggling to pay my hospital bills with her 4 figures salary which was obviously not enough. But still, I picked up my Harry Potter novel, slowly caressed the cover before flicking through the pages as if I had all the time in the world. All of a sudden, everything started to spin around swiftly before completely turned pitch black.

So basically, I wrote this fanfiction in the honor of the late Alan Rickman, who was a really great actor. I know it has been 4 years since he passed away, I know, most of us are sad thinking about his absence from the world but I'm sure that he will live on in our hearts.

I figured that books have the ability to bring you to another dimension where everything is possible, so I wanted to try to open a portal to a new world; where Alan Rickman or Snape is still alive.
Okay, I know that this chapter is a little short because it's prologue. And that's how prologues work, right...? So, basically this is my first time writing a fanfiction. And if you find any mistakes, either grammatical, spellings, time frames, or anything I write about in the story, please let me know...
