I hung my feet over the edge of the hospital bed, stayed like that for a moment before setting them down on the cold flooring. I stood up carefully, feeling a little wobbly. I straighten my posture slowly, "Hey, my back doesn't hurt anymore," I cheered. I collected my stuff and marched towards the door.

I opened the door and discovered that Hermione was standing right behind the door; she was about to knock. "(y/n), how are you feeling?" Hermione asked while giving me a worried glance.

"I'm fine," I showed my teeth."Let's go to the great hall, without kissing the ground this time," I winked.

She giggled, "Let's go,"

We made our way to the main hall, well, without rolling down the stairs this time. Thank goodness I didn't have to eat more salted egg porridge anymore. I scooped up some (fav food) and put it on my plate and devour it as if I hadn't eaten for a year.

After we had finished breakfast, we made our way to Charms. I sat next to Harry during that class. Basically, Professor Flitwick taught us a basic charm; Levitation charm.

He had us practice our wrist movement before actually casting the spell. He then gave the each of us a quill, "Now, don't forget the light wrist movement we've been practicing; the swish and flick, everyone." We practiced the movement one last time before actually casting the spell.

"Wingardium Leviosa," The whole class chanted while flicking their wand, neither of them succeeded.

Ron, being the most impatient among all of us flicked his wand repeatedly in high speed. But still, his quill didn't budge.

"Wait, stop, stop," Hermione motioned him to stop, "You're going to take someone's eye out. Besides, you're saying it wrong; it's LeviOsa, not LevioSAR," She corrected.

"You do it then if you're so clever," Ron didn't want to admit his defeat, "Go on, go on," he stuck his nose in the air.

"Wingardium Leviosa," Hermione chanted as she flicked her wand. Her quill started to float to the air slowly and glided gracefully as Hermione controlled its direction with her wand.

Professor Flitwick was obviously impressed. "Well done, Look here, everyone. Miss Granger has done it successfully. Very good," He exclaimed as his eyes lit up.

I decided to give it a shot, too, "Wingardium Leviosa," I chanted as I flicked my wand, not expecting the quill to float; but on the contrary, it did.

"Well done, miss (l/n)," Professor Flitwick gave me his nod of encouragement.

Malfoy was not having it. He shot daggers at us while we were showered with compliments.

The next class was Transfiguration. We were taught the transfiguration alphabet by the head of our house, Professor McGonagall. It was really hard; I couldn't make heads or tails out of it. Well, nothing much happened in that class since everyone was trying to get a grasp on whatever she was teaching.

Lastly, the final class of the day, Potions, which was the most dreadful compared to other classes. It was mentored by Professor Snape, the most snarky, rude, ill-tempered teacher in this school. Well, I've read that he loves to insult students. To be honest, I kind of look forward to this class, because I got to see my crush up close and also, I would like to see how he teaches (Read: insult students) with my own eyes.

"Why must this castle be so big?" Ron groaned as we drag our lazy asses to the dungeon.

Professor Snape began the class as soon as we took our seats. "There will be no foolish wand waving or silly incantations in this class. As such, I don't expect many of you to appreciate the subtle science and the exact art that is potion-making. However, for those selected few..." He paused as he glances at Malfoy, "who possess the predisposition... I can teach you how to bewitch the mind and ensnare the senses. I can tell you how to bottle fame, brew glory and even put a stopper in death."Ah, this iconic scene. I didn't quite get the drift, but okay, go on. "Then again, maybe some of you have come to Hogwarts in possession of abilities so formidable that you feel confident enough not to pay attention!" He noticed Harry scribbling on a piece of parchment. "Potter! What would I get if I added powdered root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood?" He stepped over to Harry, breathing down his face.
