I rubbed my crusty eyes before sitting up and looked around the unfamiliar room. Memories from yesterday hit me like a tidal wave. Right, he massaged me to sleep. I smiled as I relived the memories from yesterday, he was really sweet. I set my feet down on the cold hard ground after pulling the covers away from me.
"I was just about to wake you up," Severus walked in and handed me a cup of tea.
"Thanks," I gladly accepted the cup of tea.
"It's hot," he warned, and I blew into the cup of tea.
God, I must've looked hideous. My messy bed head and my greasy face would scare him away. Not to mention my morning breath. He was going to quit being my boyfriend at this rate! Wait- boyfriend? Were we even official? I mean, he hadn't asked me to be his girlfriend. Merlin, I was so confused. I needed answers.
"What could possibly cross your little mind this early?" Severus grinned as he sat beside me.
"Nothing much, I was just wondering if we are-," I was interrupted by a wooden rapping like noise.
"I'll go check. You can go take a shower or something, just don't go to the office," Severus groaned and strode to his office, leaving me alone in his room. I decided to freshen up while I waited.
After I was done, Severus wasn't in his room. I wondered what took him so long. I saw his cape was hanging on the coat stand, so I decided to give it a try.
Now I understood why he looked so big and mighty, part of it came from the cape. I mimicked his strides, letting my (h/c) hair bounce off my shoulder with every step I took and his big black cape swept the floor behind me.
I turned to a full body mirror and spoke in his tone, "Turn to page 394," damn, I nailed it.
"What are you doing with my cape?" Severus spoke right before he shut the door behind him.
I must've been too busy admiring myself in the mirror to notice his entrance. "Oh, um..." I stuttered as I struggled to take off his cape. It was not coming off. This was embarrassing.
"You can keep it on if you want..." he bent down a little and slipped a piece of hair to the back of my ear, "It suits you," I could feel his warm breath on my neck.
My cheeks flushed, and I felt butterflies swarming in my stomach, yearning to escape.
"H-here you go," I managed to take off his cape and shoved it in his hands.
"Feel free to borrow it anytime you wish. Actually, you don't even have to ask," he winked and tapped my nose.
Damn, I didn't know he could flirt. Is he really Severus? Or some sort of metamorphagus disguised as him? Either way, my heart was clearly not strong enough.
"I didn't know you could flirt," I blurted out.
"Oh, I have the capability to do much better than that," he responded smugly.
What did that man do to me? Has he bewitched my mind? I wanted him even more.
"I believe we should get going. We don't want to be late for breakfast, do we?" Severus put on his cape and marched towards the door as I tailed him.
"Ladies first," he held the door for me.
"Aren't you a lady?" I teased.
He rolled his eyes and walked out, leaving me behind.
"Hey! Wait up!" I called out.
He didn't respond or even bother looking back.
I slammed his door shut and caught up to him. "Hey... Slow down..." I panted, and he turned to look at me with a smirk plastered on his face.
