"Dad, mum! Hurry up!" a girl in her pink Princess dress with a matching pink tiara jumped up and down impatiently.

Ah, my sixth birthday... Everything was so perfect...

"Alright, honey. We're almost ready," Her mother responded.

The little girl ran around the living room with a calendar in her tiny grip, "Today is my birthday! I'm so happy, yippie!"

"Slow down, honey. You wouldn't want to exhaust yourself. You have a weak body, you know?" her mother reminded as her dad lifted her off the ground.

"Yippie!" the girl giggled, completely ignored her mother's warning.

"You heard your mother, honey." her dad complemented his wife's statement.

"Okay..." she pouted.

"But we could always go up!" her dad lifted her up even higher.

"Yay! Uppie!" their laughter filled the room.

Now, this little family had occupied their SUV.

No, please! Leave! Get out of there!

"What do you want for your birthday, honey?" her dad accelerated, not wanting to be late.

"I want a pink unicorn," the little girl showed off her incomplete rows of teeth.

"Your wish is my command," her dad chuckled.

"Our perfect little Princess is so pretty today, let mummy take a picture of you." the woman whipped her phone out and turned to face the second row passenger seat.

"Cheese!" the little girl smiled as bright as she could.

Their little moment was interrupted by the sudden honking of a tanker, which was speeding uncontrollably in their direction.

No!!!

The car flipped around, the windows were shattered and the gas was leaking. The occupants were all injured. Luckily, the youngest one only had minor injuries.

"R-run..." the mother told her little girl right before her eyes screwed shut.

"No! We'll go together! Get up, mum and dad!" tears streamed down her cheeks as she shook her blood-soaked parents.

"We... I-I love you, honey..." her dad coughed blood as he caressed her cheek before falling unconscious.

A passerby managed to rescue the girl right before the car exploded.

"No! Mum and dad!" the girl watched as the fire slowly consumed the car along with her unconscious parents in it.

Please, stop. It's private...

This time, the girl was on her teenage years. Apart from being older, gloomier, and less energetic, there wasn't much difference from her past self. She spent most of her time on the hospital bed. She was weak, vulnerable, and her condition worsen day by day. The doctors and nurses were starting to give up on her. She didn't even have the will to live; the only thing that kept her going were her Harry Potter books.

Now the scene flashed to a more recent memory; my arrival at Hogwarts, my encounter with the golden trio, the sorting ceremony, my moments with... Snape... I felt my privacy slipping away as my now revealed thoughts indicate I had a slight soft spot for him, no-- actually having a huge crush on him. It was so embarrassing, I doubt if he felt the same way. Ugh... I didn't even know how to face him.
