The second I got off of my flight, I received a call from my manager. He basically told me that I was getting picked up by Bryce, Blake, and Josh to bring me to the sway house.
Out of every other girl in the world, they wanted me to be the first girl to join Sway. Crazy, right? Well, to be fair, they heard the name Mason and thought I was a guy, so they emailed me. They soon realized that I was in fact a girl, but they said they were still more than happy to have me here.
Story of my life.
Also, the reason my mom agreed to me going to LA is because the whole Corona Virus situation. She thought that instead of me being trapped home, me being trapped in LA would at least give me opportunities to expand my career.
It's a weird way of thinking, but that's why I love my mom.
I grabbed my two luggage and rolled them one in each hand towards the outside of the airport. Once I got outside, I noticed 3 very familiar people walking my way.
"Mason!" Bryce yelled, causing people to turn my way, "I can't believe I'm actually meeting you in person!" He opened his arms and engulfed me in a bone crushing hug.
I laughed and hugged him back, "You too."
Josh then opened his arms as well, "It's nice to meet you, sophomore." I hugged him back with concussion, "Sophomore?"
He nodded, "Quinton's the freshman, but you're older than him, so therefore, sophomore." I chuckled at the bad joke, rather than the joke itself and he frowned, "That was funnier in my head."
"Ignore him. I'm Blake," Blake said with his charming smile, bringing me in for a hug. I hugged him back, "Nice to meet you, I'm Mason."
Bryce took my bags for me and placed them in the back of his car, "Alright, let's get this show on the road."
Bryce and Josh got in the front seat while I got into the back with Blake. We were only 10 minutes into the ride when the LA traffic kicked in, the only negative as to why I didn't want to move here.
The whole car ride I was getting to know the boys a little bit more, since we've already talked on social media and things like that, and before I knew it, we were at the Sway house.
I walked in next to Blake who had a smile on his face, "Quick word of advice, were really loud." I laughed, "That was something I expected."
As I opened the door, there was a bunch of screaming going on in the kitchen, but it was the good kind. Kind of like when you and you're friends are just loudly goofing around.
Heads turned my way and the first person to come up to me was Quinton. He grinned and hugged me, "The other freshman!"
I rolled my eyes and hugged him back, "Just so I don't hurt you on the first day, I'm going to pretend you didn't say that," I said playfully but with a serious expression, making him laugh.
Next up, Griffin and Anthony came up to me, the two of them saying that they were happy to meet me and I returned the compliment.
If I'm being honest, I wasn't really a person who liked hugs, so this was kind of draining.
Last but not least, the most crystal blue eyes I've ever seen connected with min. He ran a hand through his messy, fake blonde hair as he walked closer to me, a small yet warming smile on his face.
He looked like trouble.
He enclosed me in a warm hug, "I'm Jaden, nice to meet you." I smiled and hugged him back, "Mason."
I pulled away and looked at all of the boys who surrounded me.
Bryce put his arm around my shoulder, "Welcome to sway."
