I'm not going to lie to you, things were pretty rough right now. Quinton not being my friend anymore was really hurting me, and I hadn't left my room in 3 days.

Josh and Jaden left to their apartment 2 days ago and that was the only time I opened the door. I said bye to the both of them and then just closed my door again.

I'm pretty sure that today a Griffin and Kio were moving out, so even more people were just leaving. That was fun.

The knocks on my door had already started for the day, but I just turned it out like I have for the last two.

"Cmon, Mase, just open the door," Bryce said from the other side, "you need to eat something other than the 2 snacks you had in there."

"I'm fine," I said back, not really sure if he could actually hear me or not.

"No you're not," Blake spoke through the door, rustling with the handle, "Dude I'm going to break this door open if you don't open it yourself."

I rolled my eyes, not responding. There was no way in hell that Blake was going to break the door open by himself.

I stood corrected as the handle busted off of the door, and Blake stood in the doorway, shocked as to what he just did.

I groaned and covered my face with the sheets, not wanting to talk to anyone.

I felt the two of them sit down on each side of me and the covers were lifted off of my head, "I know you're hurting, Mase, but people are assholes sometimes. You just have to get over it." Bryce said, kind of harshly.

Blake shook his head, "Don't listen to Bryce. He was right about the people are assholes sometimes, but not about the getting over it. I just don't think that staying in your room so long is a healthy way to cope."

I frowned, "I know, but I like being alone when I'm upset."

"Yeah, but shouldn't you talk to people? Bottling up your feelings all the time isn't good, Mase," Blake said with a frown.

And he was right. It's happened to me before where I bottle everything inside and eventually have a breaking point.

"But I don't like talking about my feelings," I responded, my voice hoarse.

Bryce frowned, "Then what's another way for you to express your feelings?"

My eyes instantly went to my keyboard. I looked up at the boys and they knew what I wanted. The both of them left my room, giving me my space.

I was currently laying down on the couch downstairs, finally getting fresh air and out of my room.

The front door opened, Quinton, Anthony, and Jaden all walking through while laughing.

I looked up at Quinton hopefully, but he just gave me a look before walking away to god knows where.
Jaden gave me a sad smile and hopper on the couch next to me, "You okay?"

I shrugged, "I'm better than before, I guess."

"That's good," he said with a genuine smile, "I heard you're song and it was really good, Mase. You really do have a true talent."

I smiled, "Look who's talking, rockstar," I said teasingly, making him laugh.

Griffin and Kio then came downstairs, the both of them carrying the last of their bags out. I frowned and got up, hugging the both of them, "You losers better visit everyday."

Griffin nodded, "Of course Mase," he said, messing up my hair, "What would I do without annoying you everyday?"

I rolled my eyes and playfully punched his shoulder.

Honestly screw Quinton. I had my real friends here with me.
