1 week of me and Jaden being... well, whatever we were, and things were better than ever. Life was starting to get back to normal.

I walked downstairs in the outfit above, ready to start my day. Noah was currently in the kitchen on his phone, so I said hi to him, poring myself a bowl of cereal.

I sat on the island counter while Noah sat on the stool next to me, "Good morning."

"Morning, Mase, how did you sleep?" Noah asked with a genuine smile, putting his phone down and giving me full attention. Noah really was such a sweet guy.

I smiled, "Actually, I slept really well for the first time in a while. But that's probably because I finally got my lock on the door fixed."

Ever since Blake broke my door handle, the boys would occasionally come in my room in the middle of the night and prank me.

Noah couldn't stop the laugh that escaped his mouth, "Okay, to be fair, I tried to stop them."

I shook my head, not being able to control the smile on my face, "I will admit, the shaving cream one was kind of funny, but waking up handcuffed to the bed was not."

Noah grinned, "Honestly, they were all funny."

"Yeah, well now the only people with my room key are Jaden, for obviously reasons, and Anthony, because he's my best friend and he doesn't live here anymore so it's not as easy for him to just come into my room," I rambled.

"That's actually smart," Noah said, looking passed me and smiling, "Hey Jaden."

Just as I was about to turn around, someone kissed me, very passionately. I had a feeling it was Jaden, so I relaxed into the kiss a little bit before pulling away.

"What was that for?" I asked with a raised brow. Jaden looked over and Noah was gone, so he turned back to me with a smile, "Nothing."

I think someone was a little bit jealous.

Jaden stood between my legs as I sat on the counter, "If you ask me, I think that someone's a little jealous of Noah."

Jaden scoffed, "I'm not jealous of that guy."

I smiled, kissing his nose, "Well, jealous or not, I like you, not Noah." Jaden smiled and pecked my lips before taking a bite of my cereal.

"Why are you always finishing my food?" I asked with a slight laugh, and Jaden piled another bite into his mouth, "You always eat the best food."

I rolled my eyes as he finished the last bite of my lucky charms and just pushed my bowl off to the side. I jumped off of the counter and put it in the sink, "So what are we doing today?"

"Well, I wanted to take you out on a date tonight if you're not doing anything," Jaden said hopefully, searching my eyes for an answer.

I smiled, "I would love to Jaden. Are we going somewhere fancy or relaxed?"

Jade smiled, coming closer to me and placing his hands on my hips, "Definitely fancy. I want the both of us to have a romantic night."

"Alright, and what do you want to do until then?" I asked curiously, playing with the strings of his hoodie since he had his hood up.

"Cuddle?" He asked with a cute smile, making me grin, "That sounds perfect."

The both of us walked up to my room hand in hand and when we got in there I closed the door. Jaden instantly went over to my bed and picked up the pages of lyrics that were sprawled out next to my guitar, "Whats this?"

I instantly rushed over and grabbed the papers from him, "Um, it's nothing," I said quickly, trying to clean it all up.

Jaden grabbed my hands and kept them in place, "You can show me what they are, Mase, I'm not going to be mad at you."

I frowned, looking away, "But it's embarrassing."

Jaden finally put two and two together, "It's about me?"

I nodded sheepishly, which made Jaden smile, "I want to hear it, Mason. There's nothing to be embarrassed about, I promise."

I nodded and grabbed the guitar, strumming a few notes.

(Song; it's you by Allie gate)

As I finished the song, Jaden sat there with an admirable look on his face. His voice was barely a whisper, "I love it, Mase."

I smiled, looking down at him. He was laying on his side with his head propped up comfort on his hand. "You really like it?"

He nodded, "Everything about your songwriting is just so passionate and beautiful," he said, which made my cheeks blush, "Thanks."

I moved my guitar to the side at the same time Jaden sat up so he was directly in front of me, "Who, um, hurt you? You said that you've been hurt before in the song."

I was taken back by his question at first, but took a breath, "Um, well, I used to date this guy that I completely hid from my family, and things got bad pretty quick. He was lying to me the whole time and when things ended, I felt like I couldn't tell anyone because no one knew about him. And I guess that's where I got the method of holding everything in. That was a dark time in my life that I never want back."

Jaden frowned, "I'm sorry, Mase."

"It's alright, I'm over it now," I said with a sad smile, "But since were on the topic of deep songs, who are Comatose and Angels and Demons about?"

A string of emotions flew by Jaden, but hurt was definitely the most prominent, "Um, I don't really think you want to know that."

I grabbed his hands and gave them a squeeze, "I want to know everything, Jaden."

He looked into my eyes with pain, "Do you promise that you're not going to look at me differently after this?"

I nodded, "Nothing can change the way I look at you, I promise."

He let out a breath, "Well, back in high school, I was dating this girl, and I constantly cheated on her. I know, I was a terrible person, but that's the truth of it. I completely broke her heart after I was the one that ended it even though she knew I was cheating. Then, a little while after I graduated, I dated this other girl and I was completely in love with her, like head over heels."

I could tell at this point that Jaden was trying to to cry.

"Or, at least I thought I was. I don't know why, but I began cheating on her again. I guess I just really wasn't in love with her either. Comatose is kind of their point of view towards me, and Angels and Demons was when I was going through a rough phase of my life."

I frowned, looking down at our hands that were connected was he going to cheat on me next?

"I know what you're thinking," Jaden said, placing his hand on my chin and making me look at his eyes, "But I promise you I would never do that to you, Mase. You're different than them."

"How am I different?" I asked, not really believing it.

"Because we've been a thing for 2 weeks, not even dating yet, and I haven't even looked at another girl. I was dating those girls for a week when I began cheating on them," Jaden said, and I couldn't tell if that made me feel better or worse.

"Please tell me you believe me, Mase," Jaden asked hopefully. I looked up into those ocean eyes and wanted to believe him so bad, "I do."
