Artemis found herself passing by Loki's cell in her search for some silence, the woman making it her mission to pass as quickly and quietly as she could so she wouldn't have to waste time making chit-chat with the God.

"In a hurry, are we?"

Artemis groaned as she halted, the door so close yet her curiosity won as she twirled around and marched closer to the glass- not at all scared.

"Yes, if you must know." Artemis jumped on top of the railing and sat on them with her legs holding her steady, "I gotta know, are you really the God of Mischief? 'Cause all I see is an insecure little boy." Artemis taunted as she watched the small smirk fall from Loki's face, her own lips curling into her own smirk,

"You better show respect to-"

Artemis cut him off carelessly, "Respect is earned through actions. It is not bought, nor installed through fear."

Loki pursed his lips at her words as he tilted his head, "Does that mean you fear me?"

Artemis smiled, her eyes shining with amusement, "No. I don't fear you and I never will." She boldly touched the glass with her fingers, slowly tracing a line which caused Loki's eyes to follow it with a subtle gulp,

"You should." Loki suddenly stared at her with an intensity which made alarm rise in her head, but she didn't show it, "You know, you don't belong in this wretched planet. You could join me, and rise to be the queen you are, daughter of Goddess of the Hunt." He smirked cockily, seeming to know exactly what to say to her,

"What did you just say to me?" Artemis literally had to clutch onto the bars by her feet as she tried to figure out what he had just said.

"Join me and help me take over the world."

Artemis stared at Loki who stared right back at her, her face contemplating his words as she bit her lip, her fingers curling tightly around the bars under her thighs,

"Artemis."

She jumped startled, swiftly jumping with a flip as she turned to stare at Captain America, his face unreadable to her,

"Hey." She calmed her heart rate at the sight of him, walking his way before swiftly passing by him and into the corridor, not waiting to see if he was following or not,

"Listen... I need your help with something." Artemis dodged agents as they walked down the busy corridor, Steve right beside her with his massive built

"Sure, but only if you promise not to mention what Loki said back there." She halted in the middle of her walk, ignoring the startled faces turning into glares as people tried to dodge the two "heroes".

"I promise." Steve nodded sincerely and while she wondered how much he had heard- she wasn't about to risk asking him and opening that can of worms.

"Lead the way, Captain." Artemis smirked before Steven lead the way with a small smile, nobody looking twice at them which made they're sneaking around easier,

Artemis stood to watch by Steve as he strained to slide the very heavy iron door open,

"You know, we should be getting our beauty sleep." She muttered as she read the sign beside the door, Secure Storage 10-C.

"I thought you liked to do this kind of stuff..." Steve grunted as he continued to strain before the door slid open and he softly pushed her inside,

"I do. I just wanted to say that." Artemis smiled sweetly and Steve chuckled quietly before they were both stealthily moving inside the room.

It appeared to be a large warehouse filled with a bunch of metal crates stacked in lines.
