Artemis made her way to where she could hear Steve and Tony arguing, a new suit covering her skin while a pair of boots clicked with her every step, confident oozing out of her again after a very hot and long shower,

"He made it personal." Tony's harsh voice seemed to get louder as she entered the part of the helicarrier they were at, the cage that had been holding Loki no longer there while a patch of blood was still painted on the floor... where Agent Coulson had lost his life.

"That's not the point." Steve argued as he stood in Tony's way, both males face to face while they argued,

"That is the point, Steve." Artemis made herself known as she leaned against a wall, her arms crossed tightly over her chest and both men turned to stare at her, so she continued, "That's exactly Loki's point. He hit us all right where we were supposed to be the most prepared. Why do you think he did that?"

"To tear us apart." Steve answered her question and Artemis hummed in agreement,

"Not only apart- but to tear us down." Artemis smirked softly, clarity seeming to slowly fall over them even more they spoke,

"He had to conquer his greed, but he knows he has to take us out to win, right? That's what he wants. He wants to beat us, and he wants to be seen doing it. He wants an audience." Tony walked around Steve, causing Artemis to lean away from the wall as she listened to him, her face thoughtful as was Steve's.

"Right, we caught his act at Stuttengard." Steve nodded towards Artemis and she nodded back, remembering that as the first time in a while since she had allowed herself to use her... abilities.

"Yeah. That's just a preview, this is opening night." Stark smacked his hands together as he started to figure it out, "Loki's a full-tilt diva. He wants flowers, he wants parades, he wants a monument built in the skies with his name plastered..." He paused and Artemis felt her brows furrow before realization fell over her, her face falling and Steve looked at them in confusion, "Son of a bitch!"

Artemis laughed as Tony ran off in a panic, finally figuring it out but his face brought amusement to her and Steve ushered her to follow the billionaire, a plan already forming between them.

"Girl, we got a mission." Artemis barged inside Natasha's room, the red head's neck almost snapping as her head snapped up in startlement,

"What mission?" Natasha looked at her unprepared, her face filled with confusion and Artemis opened her mouth to explain but Steve walked beside her in his uniform, Natasha looking between them as she tried to figure out their motives... and plans,

"I'll tell you on the way. Can you fly one of those jets?" Steve asked her, and a door opened inside the room, a man walking out of the bathroom with a serious face as he stared at Captain America,

"I can."

Steve looks at Natasha and she nods her head to confirm Barton's on their side, and Artemis smirked, her red lips catching Barton's attention,

"You must be Clint, AKA Hawkeye. You're a lot hotter in person." She winked at him causing Clint to chuckle and scratch his neck awkwardly, Steve cleared his throat as his eyes switched between them,

"You got a suit?" Cap asked him, his voice tight which made both women stare at him in confusion for his sudden change,

"Yeah."

"Then suit up."

A hand curled around Artemis elbow before she was dragged out of the room by Steve, who muttered something about helping him, but he didn't explain so she kept trying to figure it out by herself,
