LIGHT IN MY LIFE OF DARKNESS

CHAPTER 4

Author's POV:

Kiara was talking to Ani about the interior designer for the new office in India.

"I think Maria can do because we know how much Maria have excelled in interior designing. Just because her family objected, she took up the business." Suggests Anirudh.

"Yes, let me call maria now." Kiara spoke.

"She told she will do it." Said Kiara while Melissa comes into her cabin and informs her about the meeting in 10 minutes.

"Ok bye. I will meet you after the meeting." Kiara says and leaves.

While going to the meeting room, she sees the Aarav in the meeting room and she feels proud of knowing how lazy her brother was and even angry as he could not believe his twin. She asks Melissa who he is.

Melissa replies, "Ma'am he is the CFO of Rathore group  of Companies. "

Kiara enters the meeting room and greets everyone and smirks seeing the expression of Aarav.

AARAV POV:

I came to attend a meeting with the RI group of companies as they wanted to expand their business in India and they are on the list of the top companies in the fashion sector. Not only fashion but in everything.

When I was talking to my PA, suddenly the door opens and I get shocked seeing the person who is way more beautiful than before and has an aura of power and control. Everyone greets her with the respect and fear.

I ask my PA who is she and he replied me "Sir, she is the CEO and temporary MD of RI group of companies."

I was in shock knowing that my sister has become this successful. 

Then suddenly she says good morning gentlemen with an authoritative voice and asks them to start the meeting. In between she interrupts saying "Mr. Oberoi I think I have informed you that the interior designer will be MS. MARIA." in a dangerous voice due to which Mr. Oberoi starts shaking and says sorry ma'am. I was shocked after hearing her authoritative voice.

She gives a nod and asks them to continue and after sometime, Kiara's phone started ringing. She excused herself and went out to take the call. She came back with a smile which I have seen after many years and everyone is astonished. Even her PA has a confused look.

She announced that the MD will be rejoining soon and her PA squeals but becomes quiet after receiving a glare from Kiara. Along with that, all the people present in the meeting room suddenly become very happy who were either nervous or shaking with fear.

I get confused and asked the person beside me that what happened.

He says, "When our MD used to be, ma'am used to be same like this. But at least she used to have a small smile. I never saw her laughing but after sir went into coma, she became more ruthless and she even lost that smile. Sir is a person who treats everyone as his equal. When you meet him, you will not think of him as the MD but a mere employee. He has a very sharp brain and is very intelligent. Ma'am is no less, but she is more a dominant woman. No one tries to deny her except sir and she gets cooled down only by sir apart from her friends. She knows how to run the business empire without any fear. But sir, ma'am is very good at heart. She does not think even once before helping someone same like sir. " I was confused on how a person can change too much and who is the people who hold too much importance in her life? But I can never forget what she did to our family and I do not like her but disgust her.  My heart says that I should even hear her point of view but my mind says that she disgraced us infront of the society. She was also the reason for di's condition after jiju's sudden death. I hear her saying that "I would take a leave and gentlemen continue the meeting. If you like our presentation I would like to sign the deal with your company MR AARAV RAICHAND." She said with a commanding tone and she rushes out of meeting room.

She was a girl who smiles all the time but I still despise her after what she has done. She has broken our trust. I saw her with hate, the disgust of her being my sister, and the astonishment as she became one of the feared successful, and hardcore businesswomen.

KIARA'S POV

I saw hate, disgust, and astonishment in Aarav's eyes which I did not care about anymore after what they had done. When I saw the phone ringing I was scared to see the caller ID. Because it was Lily and she calls only when it is an emergency. I picked the call up.

"Kiara, Rohan has come out of the coma. He is taking your name and everyone is here as they dropped by to meet Rohan." replied Lily.

I was in shock till I heard my name from the other end.

"I will come in ten minutes Lily." I said immediately.

I entered into the meeting hall with all smiles and everyone gets shocked seeing me smiling after 2 years and I announce that Rohan bhaiya has woken from the coma. Melissa squeals and hugs me. But I give her a glare to see the surroundings and she becomes quiet. All were very happy because I know how bhaiya made a place in everyone's heart.

I told  them to continue the meeting and turns towards my so called brother saying "Mr. Aarav Raichand, if u like the presentation, we will sign the deal."

He nods and I leave the meeting room. I asked Melissa to take care of the meeting and came to the mansion to see Rohan.

When I entered the mansion, I took trembling steps because I felt scared that he may hate me after knowing Bhai and bhabhi are no more. I do not want to face rejection once again
