LIGHT IN MY LIFE OF DARKNESS

CHAPTER 1

Author's POV:

A girl who has nothing left in her life except darkness and a group of friends who care for her, but what is the use when she is not even having a soul inside her? Just doing everything for namesake, so that people around her can be happy and an another reason, was to hunt her prey, those bastards who made her life a living hell.

"You came like a hope in my dark life and became a part of my life. Please wake up Bhai! I miss you a lot and also regret everything Bhai! " Says Kiara to the sleeping Rohan.

Meanwhile, her phone rings in between when she was talking to Rohan.

"Good morning ma'am!" Says Melisa, Kiara's PA.

"Good morning Melissa!" Kiara greeted her back.

"Okay! I will be there. Ask them to wait." Ordered Kiara.

Kiara reached her office which is a tall glass building with 40 floors in it. The neon and while lights are boldly displaying the name of her company, AI Group of Companies. Everyone greets her with a good morning and she wishes them in return with an emotionless voice. Then she enters the lift which is only used by her.

She calls Melisa into her cabin in a professional tone. Melisa was her junior during her graduation. She is a very good and trustworthy person and she was in the needed job to protect her family. So, Kiara swiftly appointed her as her PA seeing her abilities and her hardworking nature.

"Good Morning Ma'am! " Melisa greets Kiara.

"Good Morning Melissa. What is today's schedule? " Kiara enquired.

"Ma'am your schedule follows like this.... You have a meeting with the board members about the position of MD and the progress of the other branches and you have to meet RS group of companies about the new fashion live event of AI. After this, you have to consult the doctor about the recovery of Rohan sir. " While saying Rohan sir, Melisa gets tears in her eyes as he is like an elder brother to her even though they are not blood related. He used to protect her from Kiara's wrath and pamper her like his younger sister along with Kiara.

Kiara noticed it and diverts the topic and asks " Prepare the meeting room for board meeting. I will be there in 10 minutes. "

"Ok ma'am. Anything else?" Melissa asks.

"Nothing Melisa. You can go." Kiara told blankly.

 She enters  the meeting room with a dangerous aura  and proposed herself  in front of the board as the temporary MD till Rohan recovers and no one dared to object her knowing powerful and dominating aura she holds. And also few became a prey for the anger of the wounded tigress  and they did not even have a reason to object her in this decision, because she is perfect for any post. The meeting continued related to the rise and downfall of the companies she holds.

After the meeting is finished, Anirudh who is a close friend of Kiara and head of the California branch comes to her cabin.

Anirudh asked " How is Bhai Kiara?"

"He is still the same. " Replies Kiara in an emotionless tone.

Anirudh says " Okay! I will visit him in the evening. Take care of him and yourself too. Gaurav is coming to New York tomorrow."

Kiara just nodded and asked " Really? Why haven't that stupid inform me? Okay then, we will meet tomorrow right? I will even inform Chris, Katherine Di."

"Ok, but I will come in the evening to visit Bhai." Says Ani.

"Ok fine. Bye. " Replies Kiara.

After the meeting with RS companies and visiting the doctor about the recovery of Rohan, she went home and had her dinner. She went to her room after visiting Rohan and sharing her day experience with him. Even though he could not react, he can hear her.

While sleeping, she remembered how happy she was in her past life with the so-called family who betrayed her.

FLASHBACK(21 years before )

"Angel please come and eat a banana baby. You are a good girl. Ain't you?" Says her mother running behind.

"No Mumma! Banana tastes yucky!" Kiara replied in an adorable voice.

"Angel please!" Mrs. Raichand requested running behind her.

"Mr. Raichand, what are you doing sitting there and giggling about your daughter's antics? Make her eat, or else you will sleep on the couch today." Warned Prerna, Kiara's mother.

" Jaan! What did I do? Princess please eat. " Requested Arjun.

"Princess, then I will buy you a chocolate ice cream after school. " Whispered Arjun in Kiara's ear.

Kiara giggled and asked her mother to give her the banana.

Prerna was shocked and told her in-laws and her parents with a pout, "See I told you people that she loves her father more than me. That is why she is listening to his words."

Arjun comes and whispers "Jaan don't pout or else I will kiss u in front of everyone."

Prerna says "Besharam."

Kiara listens and starts saying beshalom in her baby voice. Her grandparents get confused and ask how did this devil learn this word Arjun.

Arjun turns towards Prerna who glares at him and he keeps an innocent face and replies "I do not know anything."

Then only her twin comes and pulls her pigtails and runs away and Kaira starts chasing him.

Her family says "One minute they fight and another moment they stick to each other like bubblegum."

"Where is Naitik and Nandini, prince, "asks Prerna to Arnav. Then they hear a reply "Here Bhai." and "Here Papa."

Prerna asks Nandini "Where are other two mischief makers ?"

Nandini replies "Chasing and helping champ."

Then children return and start irritating their father and uncle, and Aakash trying to control them (Aakash is prince, elder brother of Kiara  )

Kiara is the person who plays pranks with her twin and aunt and uncle with her grandparents as her partners in crime. She was the heart of all of them being the youngest and very good at heart like helping people for whom she feels bad. She was a very soft-spoken, very sensitive, lovely, and bubbly girl . . she was the life of the family.

End of the past

"A person who brings happiness in our lives can bring darkness too."

This quote applied to her family.

She comes out of thoughts and feels sad about the betrayal faced by her due to her family who lacked trust in her except Rahul(Kiara's cousin brother) who are in touch with her even after all things which happened. Because he knew his angel was never wrong and will never be wrong.
