“Let’s go.” Lillian said as she came out of one of the rooms. She was wearing a grey sweatshirt with jeans and hair tied in bun. She had her sometimes-spectacles on along with her always-bracelet. She looked around and saw everyone except Owen out in the hall.
Liam was wearing simple and impressive white shirt and Ben was wearing white tee with denim jacket. Beside Liam, a wrecked looking Deb was standing in Mickey Mouse tee and looked like she did not bother with her hairs which were tied back. She had dark circles under her eyes and no makeup at all. Her hand was locked with Liam’s, which earned a raised eyebrows look from Lillian. Tris was on the couch texting on her phone and had a denim jumpsuit on.
“Where’s Owen?” Lillian asked Ben who shrugged and pointed at the room’s door.
“Okay, I will get him you guys move down and Liam can check us out?” she asked and everyone nodded. Lillian watched them take their bags and leave before she knocked on the door. Owen opened it a few seconds later and was standing there in grey hooded sweatshirt with black overcoat and black, ripped denim.
“Done checking me out?” he asked smirking.
“You wish.” Lillian answered rolling her eyes and turning away to sit on one of the couches.
“What’s the matter?” Owen asked sitting on the adjacent one.
“We will meet Liam today Owen. And Tris is going to say yes to her in case Liam proposes living together. What if she really does ask Tris to come back?”
“But isn’t that what you want?” Owen asked softly
“Tris and Liam back together, yes but I am not ready to leave her yet.” Lillian answered looking in his eyes.
“I know but, honey, what Liam did to Tris is unforgivable but Tris really loves her. She puts on her hard armor but inside she really wants Liam to take her back in, hell she already has made up her mind that Liam will take her back and if that is what she wants, don’t you think we should be happy for her?” Owen asked rubbing his fingers on her hands.
“You are right, Of course you are right, I… I just wish I could go back in time and__”
“Don’t think about it Lillian, it was never your fault. Let’s go now or they will imagine the worst.” Owen said laughing lightly
“Which reminds me, make sure you see Liam, Deb and their hand together.” Lillian answered grinning
“What do you mean?” Owen asked looking at her, confused.
“Well yesterday night I may or may not have come out of my room for water and I may or may not have seen them sleeping on the couch, but hey, my mouth is sealed.” Lillian answered laughing.
“My ears, my ears! Why would you do that? I don’t want to know about it.” Owen answered covering his ears.
“You approve them?”
“Deb isn’t a kid Lillian, she can do whatever she wants, she does not need my approval” Owen answered picking up his bags and moving towards the door.
“What a progressive brother!” Lillian muttered before following him down.

The two hour drive was uneventful unless you count the fact that Deb was sleeping beside Liam while he drove the car and the moment when they did karaoke and even more surprisingly, Ben won.
Liam's phone weirdly kept on ringing till the point he had to switch it off. Lillian looked at it and saw 'mom' written on the screen.
They kept on talking throughout the journey about how Deb’s university is conducting a new experiment on some big named theory and she was elected their leader and how Owen is, illegally we might add, importing an ice cream machine to gift triplet’s small niece. Finally they stopped at a shabby looking restaurant for breakfast and settled on a table near window.
“So, alcohol intolerant, huh?” Tris asked, she was sitting opposite to Deb and Liam while Ben was sitting adjacent to her and opposite to Owen and Lillian on a square table.
“Yeah, found out when I was 13, when I drank for the first and only other time.” Deb answered scanning the menu.
“What happened?” Lillian asked
“Passed out from it and Owen and Ben found me 5 hours later red faced and unconscious. Spend three days in hospital before my face started looking like human again. It was worst experience of my life.” Deb said and shuddered at the thought. “Anyways, my turn, who is Liam and why are we searching for her?”
“Okay….So Liam is my sister.” Tris said and Liam choked on his coffee while Ben stared at her with his mouth open
“She is your….Did you knew about this?” Deb asked turning to Owen who smiled sheepishly before turning back to his omelet. Deb rolled her eyes and poked Tris to go on.
“There isn’t much to tell, I was 5 when my mom adopted her and 11 when mom passed away, dad took care of us for two years when he was shot to death, I was 13 then and Liam was 18. She was affected adversely and she fled away. I was broken, alone and not to mention angry. But I knew she was not wrong, I mean she is my sister. Then a few days ago I got her message that she is coming to America. I was agitated and asked Lillian to kidnap her, it was a wrong decision and I immediately regretted it but thank god I made it or where would have we met such a gem like our very own Garfield.” Tris said laughing at last sentence.
“I knew you won’t complete that speech without roasting me.” Liam scowled and everyone burst out laughing.
“Wow, so what will you do when you meet her?” Ben asked
“Well she would apologies and I would forgive her and maybe move in with her in our NY cottage.”
“Are you sure she would__” Deb started but was cut off when Tris said a firm yes closing any further arguments.
“It’s feels good though, reuniting families. We should start this business.” Owen joked.
“Well, I am in, I think nothing is as important as your family.” Lillian said smiling at Tris.
“Agreed” Ben said holding his hand out for Owen.
“Hey! I am your family too.” Deb scowled.
“Yeah but now Liam seems more like your family.” Owen smirked.
“Whatever and for the record, if I ever get married, you guys are not invited.” Deb pouted.
“Okay, we will ask Liam to invite us.” Ben said and Lillian turned to see both of them blushing hard.
“Family must never be left alone.” Lillian said seriously and looked at Liam who took a second before answering,
“Family must never leave you alone too. The feeling is quite mutual.”“Liam, what if she is not leaving you alone, give her a chance, just answer her call. She wants to make everything right and meet you once. Give her a try.” Lillian pressed and Liam looked at her surprised. “Sorry I saw the notification of her messages. But we all heard the rings of her desperate calls.”
"Just talk to her and then whatever you say would be final.” Deb said taking his hand but Liam stayed rigid with his jaws clenched.
“Lee….” Deb said squeezing his hand a little. After an awkward moment, Liam sighed heavily looking straight in her eyes and nodding. The rest on the table exhaled and smiled at each other.
Lillian cleared her throat, “So………Lee” she said and everyone other than the two started laughing hard while they blushed hard again and relaxed a little when the waiter came with their food and they all ate noiselessly and peacefully.
They soon finished their food and Deb drove them for the miles left and reached NY 2 hours later with full gallery and stomachs. Lillian felt a knot in her chest as she saw the similar streets and shops. She could feel her dad laughing around her and then she heard a bullet sound too which made her jerk backward and she turned to see Owen holding her hands, smiling slightly.
Lillian took in the state which was able to withhold her for only 3 years before she had to run away. Everything was different, it had been over 5 years. She repeated this in her mind to calm herself down and tightened her hold on Owens hand. Everything would be fine, she thought. Little did she know….
