-day 6 -
- Dream (or is it?) -.
"My name is Chloe, Chloe is pretty bland," I sighed looking into the mirror. I didn't look bland. I had aluminus pink hair. I smiled to myself. I carefully looked at all my fading scars. And you know what? I was proud. I looked human. I had meat on me again. My face looked less drawn than it did. I looked happier. My eyes were green. Emerald green, and they sparkled.
I took a deep breath in. I smelt like my favourite berry burst shower set, with a mix of my favourite perfume. I sighed pulling on a blue hoodie, out of pure habbit to hide scars. My white crop top and light blue high wasted skinny jeans hid others. I slid on my black converse before trudging down to the kitchen. Empty. I shrugged and left the house and got a cab to the town centre.
I walked down the street. I was alone. No boys. Something that wasn't normal. I saw a face that I recognised. The man looked so familiar. He sauntered towards the café. The café I hadn't been in since that day. That day I tried to kill myself. That was so long ago. I walked through the door. I smiled nothing had changed. Jane was chatting to the man. As she made his order. She handed it to him.
"Jane," I chirped.
"Chloe," she screached running around the bar to give me a hug, "You've been getting to school on time now?" She asked
"Not exactly. I have a tutor now and I live with my brother," I answered as we walked to the counter and she made me a coffee.
"Oh yeah I saw it on the news, you should've told me Mikey was you brother girl," she laughed. The man coughed,
"Yes boss?" Jane asked the man. Was that how I recognised him?
"Jane can I have a refill?" He asked. I froze and looked at him. He looked so familiar I couldn't shake it. His eyes were locked on mine.
"Hi kid," he whispered...
- Day 7 -
I woke up sweating and screamed. Three figures barged in and one flicked on the light. Mikey ran to my bed and pulled me into him and cuddled me.
"What's wrong?" He whispered.
"Hi kid," I replied. He froze, only one person called us that. Dad. Mikey suddenly let go of me.
"You had a dream about Dad," he asked. I nodded. Dad left when Mikey was ten almost eleven years go. Luke eged falward followed by Calum.
"Mikey we have to get ready for our Mum's," Luke said
"And Mia," I interupted. Luke nodded
"And Mia," Luke said frouning at me, "Help Chloe then get dressed yourself." Luke walked out the room. Mikey fround at him. I think Ashton's negativity is rubbing off. Calum stood in the center of my room. I got up then went to hug him, but he pushed me away.
"Go have a shower yeah?" He stated to me before walking out too. I turned to Mikey who looked as confused as I felt.
"What the actual..." I started
"Don't swear," Michael interupted before I could drop the F bomb, "The other Mum's think Mia is our Mum and they'll think James is our step dad but just call them Mia and James. Okay?"
"Okay, Always?" I asked
"Always," He said picking me up throwing me over his shoulder. He carried me to my bathroom then set me on my feet. He kissed my forehead, "I'll be back in a sec," He whispered dissapearing then re appearing secconds later with an arm full of clothes, "I'mma go shower I'll be in my room if you finish first."
