I woke up in an empty bed with an empty heart. She promised always but now she'd left. It was weird. Ashton came back last night. But we just told him she was at a friends. We didn't want him to be right. It wasn't fair. He would rub it in our faces. But why did she leave. I glanced at my phone. It was half nine. Wow that's early. Maybe there would be something from the fans or something. Just anything. I scrolled through twitter. I even checked her page. But nothing. I couldn't find anything. None of the tweets to her were exactly nice. Except one.
"I saw you alone in Sidney did the boys know? All alone with a boy. Naughty," Did she run off with a guy? I rolled out of bed and onto the floor. I just lead there. I didn't feel like breathing. I had no energy. Had no motivation. I hadn't felt like this in a long time. Not since I before I met the boys. It scared me that she had that much controle. I wandered into Chloe's room and started to go through her search history. Nothing pinpointing a place. Not a place in Australia anyway. I searched through her room trying to find a clue. She took a lot of money. She could be gone days or weeks or months. I started to bite my nail. I sat on the edge of her bed."Oi," Ashton said looking through the door, "I'm going out somewhere be back tonight maybe," I nodded slightly. I needed to find her. She effected me so much. She always did. I pushed up and looked through her bedside table. Nothing. I don't know how long I was just lead on her bed breathing in her smell and reminiscing about what we did when we were kids and how we'd stay at Gran's for day on end and how's we'd run free. Harry burst in.
"Mikey where did you go when you were a kid," he asked. I paused sitting up. I shrugged, "She tweeted 'The past is coming back, but I will go falward,' what does it mean?" He seemed so frustrated. I knew that it Kent she was at Gran's.
"I know where she is," I mumbled standing up and running to my room. I pulled on a pair of joggers and a tee before running down the stairs and picking up keys and slipping on Cal's vans. I ran out to the car. I started it up and Calum ran out in just jeans. He opened the door.
"Where ya going," he asked climbing in. I shrugged, "You know where she is," I shrugged, "Michael do you,"
"Yep," I whispered he shut his door and put on the seatbelt. I started to drive the most direct route to Gran's house it would take at least three hours. Calum started to flick through the radio stations till he came across one we both liked. I changed it to the one I knew would be playing at Gran's house. It was the one she always played no matter what. Cool kids came on. I could imaging Chloe singing along and dancing. I smiled to myself. I put the peddle down and drove as fast I could. I glanced down at the clock. I hope she was still there. The sun started to set and I turned on the lights on my car. Onwards I drove Cal was starting to get concerned.
"Mikey how are you so sure you know where she is," Cal asked as I pulled up behind Chloe's bike.
"Her bike is there," I whispered. I climbed out the car and ran to the front door.
"Mikey wait. It's late," he said before I knocked on the door. I span around, "You'll probably wake them up, wait till morning," He sighed coming falward and pulling me back towards the car. I shook my head and I felt my eyes prick with tears, "hush I understand you're worried but she'll be safe she's with family. She'll be okay with your Nan," Calum whispered pulling me into a hug. I slowly nodded as he helped me back into the car it was sorta uncomfortable to sleep in a car so I lead awake for hours in the back of the car looking out the window listening to Calum snore, before falling asleep just before dawn.
