My head hurt my first hurt and I felt like shit. I know I went to bed last night but I remember waking up and going downstairs for some painkillers and not finding any. I was in my bed and there was a very worried boy sat on the foot of my bed.

"Thank god you're awake," he said.

"Who are you," I asked.

"James. I said last night but I doubt you remember that," he sighed.

"Hi," I told him. This boy had violet eyes and black floppy hair like Luke used to have. He had a nose ring but looked really adorable.

"I'm one of Michael's friends from school," he told me. I remembered him. He didn't use to look like this though.

"I remember you. You were his friend in the first few years of school before he went of with Luke and Calum," I mumbled.

"How's your mum doing," he asked slowly. I remember he came round to the house once or twice.

"I live with Mikey now," I said not answering the questions.

"Okay. We need to find your brother he's here somewhere unless he went of with a girl," he extended his hand and helped me up. He either wasn't drunk last night or he's really good at dealing with a hangover. I walked down stars to find a more or less tidy living room with a boy stood in the middle with a bin bag.

"Is she okay," the boy asked.

"I think she is," he replied.

"Miles, by the way," he told me.

"He's my boyfriend," James grinned.

"Mikey isn't here if you're looking for him. I think he went to a hotel with that girl or back to her place," Miles said. He looked down at my wrist, "Do you want me to cook anything for you to eat or do you want some painkillers," he asked. He looked really concerned. The phone flat phone rang telling us someone who didn't have a key was asking to see us.

"Ask who it is first," I said out loud. James went to the phone.

"No Mrs Irwin. Mikey isn't here right now. Why do you ask," he paused,"He can't leave Chloe here by herself not for as long as it will take for her to heal up," he retorted hanging up.

"Why was she here," Miles asked.

"Mike is needed in LA for something. She didn't say what," he replied. My phone rang. I picked it up,

"Hello," I asked.

"Michael is in hospital he was drunk whilst driving. Are you his next of kin," the person asked.

"I don't know who is. It could be anyone. I'm his little sister," I told them. I felt tears flow down my cheaks.

"Is your mother with you," the person asked.

"Mikey is my legal guardian," I replied in a whisper.

"You're the only person that has picked up the phone so far," the person sighed.

"Can I hand you over to James he's one of the adults here right now," I told them. I handed the phone over to Luke and the sank to the floor. I was in shock. Miles sat down next to me. He wiped away my tears and tried to calm me down.

"Okay bye. I'll make sure she's okay," James informed the person before hanging up. He sat on the other side of me and pulled me close.

"I want Mikey," I whimpered.

"You can't have him," James mumbled, "I'm so so sorry," we three sat like this for god knows how long. My phone rang again. I answered it. My voice shaking.

"We're on our way," is the first thing I heard,

"Luke. Hurry please. Mikey's hurt. He was in a car crash," I told him I started to cry all over again. James slid my phone out my hand.

"Me and my boyfriend are looking after her. We're at Mike's flat," James told Luke, "Text her phone when your plane lands and we'll head out to pick you up. We need to keep this low key. For Chloe's sake. See you soon," I could hear the bitterness in his voice. But I ignored it. I went and collapsed on the couch.

"How long," I asked.

"The plane should arrive tonight," James told me. I sighed and turned on the telly and watched some shows. But I couldn't get into it.

I was sat at the airport waiting. The flight landed just now. They should be through the doors soon. I was drinking my fith cup of coffee that day. But I didn't feel full of energy. I felt tired. Mikey was in hospital and I was alone. Again. No one would care not really I would be better off dead Ashton himself said so.

"Hello babes," Luke sighed kissing my forehead.

"Hi," James said looking at them. Luke looked at James.

"Thank you," Luke said. He picked me up and sat me on his hip, "Thank you for looking after her till we could get here." Calum was stood next to Luke and Ashton was here to.

"Why is Ashton here," I mumbled.

"Image," Luke replied, "Let's get you home," he added.

"To the flat," I agreed.

"To the house," Luke corrected.

"Flat," I argued, "That's where me and Mikey live,"

"Fine me and Cal will stay with you at your flat," Luke gave in. He carried me and his bag to the doors and to James car. He put me in shotgun. Calum put both his and Luke's bag in the boot. Ashton hadn't followed us but gone to get a cab. James drove us to the flat and Luke hit off with James and Miles quite fast. The last thing I remember was Luke tucking me into my bed before leaving my room.
