I woke up cuddled up to Luke. His arms wrapped around me he was awake. He looked tired. He smiled at me.
"Morning muffin," he mumbled. He had morning voice, "Are you okay," I nodded. I think he knew I was lying.
"Hello," someone called out.
"Shut up I'm sleeping," Luke called out. He berried his head in my neck.
"Get up. We're going to the hospital," Calum said entering my room.
"Go wayyy," Luke whined, "Sleepy," I put my fingers in Luke's hair and started making it stick up in weird ways. I started giggling as Luke raised his head. He pouted at me and before climbing out me bed. He left before glaring at Calum. I sat up slowly.
"You have to get up and we'll go see Mikey," Calum grinned. I got out of bed and opened my closet looking for a onesie. I pulled out the totoro one before kicking Calum out and putting it on. I walked downstairs pulling my hair into a messy bun. I sprawled on to couch. Waiting for people to be ready. I pulled my knees to my chest. I felt numb. But there was a pain in my guts. I felt tears down my face. Someone wrapped their arms around me. I was pulled into someone's chest. Tears were making their shirt damp.
"Where's the stuffed bear," the person holding me asked lifting me of the couch.
"Here. Got it," someone called.
"We ready to go," someone else asked.
"Yeah," Luke said. Holding me with one arm and the bear in the other had. I had both my arms round his neck an my legs wrapped around his waist, "Wait Chloe are you hungry?"
"No," I whispered.
"Okay we're good then," Luke said. Carrying me out. He took me all the way down before setting me down in the middle in the back. He climbed in next to me after strapping me in. He gave me the bear and a pair of my uggs whilst James was driving. Luke talked to me about the tour and that they'd called it off. And how they could write here until Mikey's better and how Ashton was pushing the band into pop. But the others wanted to be more rocky.
Luke held my hand as we walked into the hospital. I held onto both him and the teddy as hard as I could as we walked into Mikey's room. Mikey was awake and talking to a nurse. I let go of Luke and ran to Mikey. His eyes grew bright as i drew closer I hugged him.
"Don't hurt hi sweet pea," the nurse said before walking out. I sat on the bed next to Mikey and told him about yesterday. How the boys were looking after me. I left out the nightmares. I think I fell asleep on the bed with Mikey. Luke must've woken me up a few hours later.
"Come on we need food," Luke told me.
"Not hungry," I replied. I sat myself in the chair by the bed.
"You're just as bad as he was when you were here. You need to eat," Luke said sounding exasperated. With me. I felt hurt at his lash out at me. I felt tears well up, "No. No don't cry. I'm just worried about you," Luke looked hurt himself. I put a shaky hand out. He held onto it helping me up. I but down on my bottom lip and wiped my tears with my spare hand. Luke looked down at me, "Come on we'll go get some food the other three went about an hour ago,"
"You waited for me," I asked as we walked out the hospital and to the McDonald's only a few blocks away. I only ordered a water. Whilst Luke had a Big Mac and a large frys with a chocolate milkshake. I drank my water eating some of Luke frys. Luke looked pleased that I was eating something. Luke finished his meal and we went back to the hospital. The other three where there talking to Mikey. They looked more sullen than before. They changed there persona the moment I walked in.
"So what going on," I asked. No one answered, "I asked a question," the silence continued hanging over us like a storm cloud.
"You should tell her," Luke mumbled standing behind me.
"Tell me what," I was scared. The five boys looked at me. My bear was sat on an empty chair and my hands were shaking. Luke took both my hand in one of his, "Is Mikey okay," I asked my voice not breaking more broken.
"I'm fine. I'm perfectly fine," Mikey said.
"It's you. That's the problem," someone said from the doorway. I turned to look. Ashton, "So you haven't told her. The plans to send her to boarding school. In England," Ashton smirked.
"England," I mumbled.
"That's not a plan it's an idea," Calum growled. I slowly sat down on the floor Luke crouched down an knelt next to me.
"It's a good idea," I mumbled, "You wouldn't have to worry about me." Luke looked at me.
"I think we'd always worry about you. No matter where you are," Luke mumbled. His eyes blue, piercing looking at mine.
"Ashton why are you here," Calum asked. Luke helped me up. Luke held onto me. Waiting for Ashton to reply.
"Came to see how you were doing. We need to get onto the tour in time or we'll start loosing money. Then I can't pay for the house. Then my family will be homeless," Ashton was worried but not about Mikey.
"Well I'll be out in a few days then I can't fly for a few weeks but I'll be out in time I'm sure of it. You're not the only one looking after a family you know," Mikey hissed.
"Well how long have you been doing that," Ashton asked.
"Since I was about ten," Mikey exploded, "I've looked after her for nine years. Nine years of my life she's been my firs priority my baby sister is the reason I would put the world on hold. She's the reason I try so hard to be the best I can," He had snapped. It was obvious he was pissed off and he didn't try to hide it. Just then a nurse walked in,
"I think it's time for everyone to leave," she chirped showing everyone the door. I ran out the room and down endless corridors. I found myself in a small garden. I sat on the dirt and thought.
