Ngl after I'm done with this book I might want to make this an actual story, but with a different ending or plot sort of, and maybe have more or less pets or something like that, idk this is one of the ideas I like more cause it's wholesome and I'm not completely heartless.

"Why do you have such an issue with just a simple mood changing spell!?" Bad scolded and questioned Skeppy at the time.
"I'm fine with it sort of being a manipulation spell, but it just is so boring. It takes me an entire week just to be decent at ten new spells that are the most fucking boring things I could possibly do." Skeppy answered.
"Language" Bad spoke in Skeppy's head.
"See! You can at least do cool or useful things! I still can't even read one of our pets' minds!" Skeppy said to Bad.
"Skeppy, you have to learn the easier stuff before you learn the harder things." Bad said to Skeppy.
"But what's even stopping me from looking at one of your advanced books!" Skeppy yelled back, and Bad's eyes widened.
"Skipping that many steps of magic could end in so many bad things, you have to learn all of the spells from this book to even start thinking  at looking at the first page of the next book." Bad scolded Skeppy again, worried at what might happen. Bad had never tried himself to skip steps from spell books, but instead was told the dangers of it and stories of others and the monsters they had become.

After they got over their small fight, they went to prepare dinner. It was pretty easy to make food, usually Skeppy and Bad had to decide what they wanted to eat, then Bad would cast a spell and there it was.

Tonight neither of them could decide what they wanted to eat, and neither were too hungry. With one glance at eachother, the best friends decided. Bad closed his eyes for a moment, two blueberry muffins suddenly appeared on the kitchen counter in front of them. They each grabbed their muffin and stared happily at eachother. They both bit into their muffins and smiled with delight, Bad really knew how to make a good muffin.

After finishing their muffins they heard scratching at the door of the pets' room. The two friends walked over to the pet's room and Bad opened the door. At the door Mega was clawing it, knowing it would get their attention.
"What Mega?" Skeppy asked the cat. Mega looked towards the edge of the room, where Dream was wearing Fundy's hat.

Dream was more on the rebellious side of their pets. Dream would usually fight with the other pets, causing chaos.
"Skeppy! Now's your time to practice the mood spell!" Bad said then smiled at Skeppy. Skeppy looked at Bad and nodded with a small smile. Skeppy closed his eyes and clenched his fists.

Suddenly, Dream flipped Fundy's hat off his round pale head, smile still staying on it's face, and Fundy then grabbed his hat and used his fluffy tail to flip it on his head. Skeppy opened his eyes and watched the two previously fighting animals, walk to opposite sides of the room.

Bad and Skeppy walked out of the room happily, satisfied with what they did, they closed the door behind them. Bad smiled at Skeppy hopefully, just something that was comforting to assure Skeppy he did great and the spell in fact, was pretty cool.

The two wizards in training, parted for the night, heading to their actual rooms instead of studios. Bad changed his clothes within a blink of an eye, using simple magic. While Skeppy changed into a black hoodie and black shorts with a small amount of focus. Skeppy had to wait roughly about an hour before he could go with his plan.

Using his mood spell once more Skeppy boosted his confidence, stupid, but effective. Skeppy had nothing to distract him, so he resorted to making objects float around the room.

After about 30 minutes of mindlessly making objects float around, Skeppy heard soft snoring coming from the room next to his. Bad would always snore when he first fell asleep, Skeppy never had the heart to tell his best friend, so he would just live with the 15 minutes less of sleep.

Skeppy wished he had a spell to be able to teleport like Bad could, Bad was so much more advanced than Skeppy. Bad was even much more responsible than him, Skeppy always thought it was a nice balance for their friendship. Skeppy knew a lot of spells, but Bad knew at lest double the amount as Skeppy did. He'd been training with magic for at least 7 years longer than Skeppy.

Skeppy shut his bedroom door behind him, making a small click, Skeppy winced, at least Bad was a heavy sleeper. Skeppy tiptoed down the stairs that led to the top floor.

The doors of their studios was visible in the dim light, the doors right next to each other. The left door, Bad's studio, the right, Skeppy's. Skeppy walked towards the left studio, ready to look at Bad's spells. Skeppy just wanted to do an advanced spell, learning magic about manipulating the mind and mood wasn't all that fun when your were still at the beginning of the book, and couldn't skip a page no matter how awful the spell.

The door opened with ease, not making a sound. All the different books of magic they had were lined up on shelves in Bad's room. Bad was given the books a while ago when he first started to learn, and became friends with Skeppy, it was only right that he had all the books. It was easily over 100 books, ranging from fire magic to controlling space and time, each book getter thicker and thicker the harder magic it was. All of the books were numbered with a golden print, something Bad had said was done by the people that gave him the books.

Number 26 and 57 were missing, 26 was in Skeppy's studio, and 57 was sitting open on Bad's desk. Skeppy had mind and mood magic, while Bad had Time magic sitting out on his desk.

Skeppy skimmed through the book titles, and which kind of magic it was, he stopped at 89, a book titled: shaping and morphing. The book seemed to almost speak to him; as he grabbed the book he noticed it was almost thicker than Skeppy's hand could hold. Skeppy thought for a moment, maybe he could even change Mega back to normal if he learned enough from it. The book slipped out of it's tight spot on the shelf, not trapped with magic at all, since to a non wizards the book would have blank pages, not seen with magic spells at all.

There were only a few wizards and witches left in the world, making it almost impossible to find allies. Skeppy skimmed through the beginning of the book, just objects turning into different things as the spells, it was worth a shot to just try one of the easier spells. Skeppy did know a few morphing spells, used to most commonly fix things in his room or change clothes, those spell were just in the first few beginner books.

Skeppy chose the spell, 'turn common item into valuable item', he floated a pen on Bad's desk towards him and said the spell words in his head. He closed his eyes and focused on what he wanted the pen to turn into then let the magic pour out of him.

The what was previously a pen floated in the air in front of him, replaced with a cyan crystal. Skeppy gasped at it and took note of the spell he just cast. With that he was happy, Skeppy put the crystal in his pocket, slipped the book back into place, and headed back to his room.

Unaware of what he had just done to himself, he put the crystal on his bedside table, and laid down in his soft bed.
