As Skeppy walked down the small hallway back towards his studio, he bumped into Bad coming out of his studio.
"Hey Skeppy!" Bad said to the other wizard.
"Hi Bad." Skeppy said, then tried to get past Bad, but was stopped. A wave of visible confusion suddenly washed over Bad's face.
"What were you doing out of your studio?" Bad questioned Skeppy, fearing about the future and how he could stop it from happening.
"Oh I just got bored and decided to play with our pets for a little." Skeppy lied to Bad, Skeppy used his mood spell to boost his own confidence again, maybe that spell wasn't so useless.

Skeppy walked past Bad, Bad followed Skeppy to the door frame. Skeppy gave a questioning look to Bad.
"What are you doing?" Skeppy asked his best friend.
"Well I thought I could help you again, since I don't really like the spells I'm learning right now." Bad answered, Bad felt like he was going to be sick from even thinking about casting that future spell again.

Skeppy nodded and open the door to his studio, peaking inside for a moment. Skeppy's eyes scanned the room for less than a moment, his eyes landing on the magic book opened to the mind spells section. Skeppy panicked and thought of the only thing he could do in the moment.

Skeppy dashed into his studio, then slammed the door behind him, shutting it in Bad's face. With a flick of his hand, the book shut softly, Skeppy then turned towards the door and calmed down. He opened the door and let out a small giggle, that was fake, but seemed natural.

Bad rolled his eyes at Skeppy's small prank, thinking nothing of it. Bad walked in the studio, following behind Skeppy. Bad didn't seem to think much of the closed book on Skeppy's desk, not really minding that Skeppy had lost his page most likely.

Skeppy sat in front of his desk and began to open the book, flipping to the last spell he remembered from the mood part of the book. Bad conjured a wooden stool to appear next to Skeppy, so he could watch his friend and possibly help him test the spells.

"Now try the spell again!" Bad said to Skeppy, encouraging his friend to test another mood spell on him. Skeppy cast the manipulate mood spell on Bad once more. He decided to make Bad feel sad, smiling at first, because of the change of emotion he could easily fix.

Bad's face fell, his previous happiness gone; a small frown shown on his face, Skeppy felt bad almost as soon as he saw the full reaction.

Skeppy made Bad feel happy again, and saw the page with the spell on it change. The black text of the book's page turned into Skeppy's favorite color, a bright blue, like the crystals on his arm.

Since the text turned blue, that meant Skeppy could move on to the next spell safely. He really needed to start working through this book faster, then he could learn mind magic with Bad's consent.

Skeppy had been stuck on this one mood spell for a while, and he finally got past it. Sighing happily, Skeppy turned the page of the book. Skeppy frowned at the spell, 'cause a strong negative emotion', was the spell.

Bad looked over Skeppy's shoulder, having already moved on past the spell in the past, the font was dark red to him. Dark red was Bad's favorite color, one of his other favorites was black, but the book automatically chose red instead.

Bad looked at Skeppy and nodded at him, a way of telling him it was ok to use the spell on him. Skeppy cast the spell, taking immediate effect on his friend.

A bad feeling washed over the man, pooling in his gut. Immediately Bad recognized the feeling, guilt, there was a thin line between guilt and dread for Bad.

Dread was what he felt when he used the future spell. Guilt was what he was feeling now, sick to his stomach like dread, but with a nagging feeling that he did something wrong.

Bad only dealt with the forced feeling for a few seconds, then cast the next spell in the book's order on himself, 'cause a strong positive emotion'. Bad took a deep breath, relived that it was over, Skeppy felt bad for his friend. He didn't want to damage Bad's mental health at all with strong sadness. Skeppy was scared if he made Bad feel angry as the emotion to test.
"Sorry." Skeppy muttered loud enough for Bad to hear. Bad smiled at his friend and wrapped him in a tight hug.

After quite literally, a roller coaster of emotions, they finished for the day. They headed to their bedrooms, tired from all the magic used and spent. Bad laid down in his room, shutting his eyes and not even bothering to change clothes.

Skeppy meanwhile, changed his clothes and went to sleep, well, at least he tried to. Curiosity kept Skeppy awake instead.

A little later on, he heard the soft snoring coming from the room next to him. Skeppy sighed, knowing he probably wouldn't be able to fall asleep without doing something he knew he could do.

Skeppy snuck downstairs once again, ready to look at what other magic he could do, and also maybe fix his crystal issue. Opening Bad's studio door, he looked at the magic books with a smile.

Skeppy messed with the morphing book a little more, and had already fixed his issue with crystals. It didn't take long to find the spell to morph something alive, which was what he used to fix his skin.

Skeppy was tempted to test it on Mega, but then realized where he went wrong. Bad would clearly realize that Mega was gone and replaced by a human, and he would totally flip out if Skeppy was caught using extremely advanced magic.

Skeppy sighed and shut the book, finally realizing that maybe he should stop. He needed to kick the habit of breaking his friend's trust, putting the book back on the shelf, he left Bad's studio.

Taking a deep breath Skeppy laid down on his bed, forcing himself to sleep and ignore the want to look in the magic books again.

Skeppy groaned and sat up in his bed, this time the pain trailing up his entire left arm, from forearm to shoulder. It also made its way to be scattered in small patches on Skeppy's legs and also made quite a large mark on Skeppy's right side.

The pain caused Skeppy to groan, not noticing that even his vision was fuzzy again. Skeppy looked at the pains like he did before, and saw the cyan color of the crystals, he held back his gasp at the large sizes of the crystals. Skeppy rubbed his eyes, knowing Bad's spell should still be active, it was just cast yesterday after all.

Skeppy's sight was even worse than it was when he woke up yesterday. The world was just a blur of color, barley any details visible to him. Skeppy's vision was nowhere near this bad before he had it fixed. The groggy man sighed and headed downstairs to get Bad to fix it again. Before heading downstairs though, he almost forgot, he needed to wear a big hoodie and baggy pants to cover the crystals. Quickly he used magic, then slowly made his way to the top of the stairs.

Carefully, he walked down the stairs holding on tightly to the railing. Skeppy knocked on the door of Bad's studio and looked at the man that opened the door. It was a fuzzy outline of his best friend, sighing Skeppy began to speak.
"Um, my vision got bad again..." Skeppy told him, Bad gave Skeppy a confused look, but Skeppy couldn't see it well.

Going through the process of healing his vision again, Skeppy then looked around. The world was so clear and pretty and in the small amount of time he had awful vision, he almost forgot how nice it looked.
"If this happens again you might have to start wearing your glasses again, Skeppy." Bad said to him, Skeppy's response was looking at the floor and pouting like a child.

The two friends walked off to eat breakfast, Skeppy's baggy clothes completely hiding the secret he kept. Oblivious to the signs.
