Hmmmm since this is vampire theme and that's Halloween this story doesn't have to be that scary or edgy- unless... (literally i don't know where this is going)

"Dream?" George said through the phone.
"Another stupid check in?" Dream asked back to his friend.
"Sort of yes, but also I have proof that vampires are real." George spoke, Dream froze and went silent.
"Reason one, there were fang holes in the victims' necks and there was only a small pool of blood surrounding them. So they weren't stabbed then died of blood loss." George began to list his reasons.
"Second, camera footage that was captured, showed a person being attacked by nothing, which vampires don't show up on camera." George went on, Dream tensed a little bit as he held the iPhone that George was speaking through in his hands.
"Third, after observing the corpse, investigators describe it as if a snake could give a hickey, which meant there were human teeth marks." George finished, proud of the argument he put up.
"Yeah sure, you have me convinced. Also I really doubt that investigators said that." Dream said, trying to sound as sarcastic as possible.
"You better believe me cause I have more." George said, happy to start up the argument again.

"Look at the news Dream! There was an attempted murder, the victim survived and says they have a fuzzy memory of someone biting their neck and feeling drained after that." George went on, then Dream realized what he just said.
"What?" Dream said in shocked. The person lived?! The vampire thought to himself, he was happy and relived but then at the same time shocked and almost frustrated.

It was like he lost a kill streak in a game. Where you would be sort of sad and sort of mad about it, but then also you didn't have the pressure to keep it up. Dream sat in silence for a few moments, waiting for George to break the silence.

The two hung up after a little while longer and George was mildly suspicious, Dream hadn't talked much after he said there was a survivor. The other man seemed shocked and confused, like he was a child that got caught breaking a rule. George put that thought aside and went to code something for an upcoming video.

Dream sighed and bit the inside of his cheek, that was so stupid of him to act like that. He didn't even take account into the fact that there are security cameras almost everywhere in the city. He knew of course that he didn't show up on camera, which was another reason he still didn't do a face reveal.

The cool, crisp air of the late fall night brushed against Dream's face as he sat on his balcony again. Dream dropped off the balcony and the wind whistled in his ears for a moment. Flapping the bat wings that he now had, he flew off into town once more to be held over for another night.

Dream sat on a building roof, looking at the streets and sidewalks below. This moment sort of reminded him when he dressed up as Batman when he was little, back when he had no clue of what was ahead...

Dream was getting distracted, he immediately went back to focusing on if there were people on the sidewalks. One person wearing a black hoodie walked down the sidewalk despite it being nearly 1am. Dream swooped down behind the mystery person, staying as a bat and being silent.

The hoodie the person was wearing seemed almost familiar; the hood was up, hiding the persons head. Dream swooped up in the air and out of sight of the person, he then swooped down into an upcoming alley.

Landing as a human, he waited for the person to walk closer to the alley. Seeing the black hoodie, he saw the person was just looking ahead of themself, without a care. He stopped the person and put on his charm, the vampire looked at the other person face for a moment and had no recognition.

Dream let his charm flow freely as he stared at the person with a smile, the person only raised their eyebrow at him in confusion. Sudden, memories of past live streams flooded into his head, his eyes widened and he turned off his charm.
"Bad?!" Dream spoke in shock of seeing his friend out so late. Bad only smiled at him and nodded his head.
"Hey Dream." He said to the vampire, not seeming to mind the fact that Dream's fangs were visible.
"Why are you out so late-" Dream said, trying to dodge any topic that might involve him.
"Couldn't sleep." Bad said then shrugged. "What about you, you muffinhead." Bad said with a small smile, Dream froze.

What was he going to answer?! Bad looked at Dream for a few moments as the other man remained silent, then clicked the puzzle pieces together in his head.
"You're the one that has been commuting the murders around here..." Bad said with a small amount of awe.
Dream was shocked and tried to charm Bad to forget again.
"Save your charm you muffin." Bad said and rolled his eyes at Dream.

Dream took a step back.
"How did you know I was using charm..." Dream questioned as he took a few more steps away from his friend.
"Your really a dunderhead aren't you? Charming me... Planning on getting a quick snack, maybe even killing me! Of course, not knowing it was me though." Bad said to the confused vampire.
"Your point...?" Dream said back, trying to get something out of the man.
"My point is: you can't kill the already dead, Dream." Bad spoke through the silence of the night.
"Already dead..." Dream asked then stared at Bad with a worried look. Bad overall seemed calm and collected with his occasional use of 'muffin'. Dream was beyond confused at what Bad meant by 'already dead', was Bad a zombie-?

The two questioned each other back and forth and Dream had found out that Bad was actually a demon. Dream was shocked at first then noticed the sort of obvious signs he had given. Bad tried to let them indirectly know with the signs but nobody picked up on them. Nobody except Skeppy apparently, who also according to Bad finally figured out after almost two years of being friends.

Bad also asked Dream about if anyone else knew about him being a vampire, Dream answered 'no'. Not even his own parents knew about their son being a vampire. The two separated for the night and Dream wished he had brought his phone to check the time. Dream only had a limited amount of time to get a drink of blood, and it might get to daylight soon.
