The wooden door clicked shut behind Bad, closing off the house from the cold outside. In Bad's arms, was a kitten, from the looks it seemed to be a Siamese.
"Skeppyy!" Bad called into the echoey home. His call was answered by a loud bang, Skeppy came out of his studio, his t-shirt charred.
"Hey Bad..." Skeppy said, trying to hold back his coughs from the smoke now coming from his studio.

Bad cradled the kitten in his arms, as he spoke.
"Um... you ok?" Bad asked, this was a normal occurrence for Skeppy, but it still didn't make it any better.
"Oh. Yeah." Skeppy said then immediately his shirt mended. Skeppy's eyes then landed on the kitten in Bad's arms.
"Another pet?" Skeppy asked Bad. Bad nodded with a smile, the two of them had quite the obsession with collecting pets, either made by magic, or finding them in the wilderness.
"Have you decided a name yet?" Skeppy asked Bad, still staring at the kitten in his arms.
"I was thinking... Antfrost." Bad said, then hugged the kitten.
"Mind explaining why Antfrost as a name?" Skeppy asked, curious about the name.
"Oh! Because since it's winter and Ants are small like this muffin!" Bad said stroking the cat's head.

Skeppy just nodded, then walked towards his studio again, most likely to clean it up. As Bad walked away he saw out of the corner of his eye objects in Skeppy's studio floating into place and the ash shifting into their previous objects.

Bad walked to the small kitchen of their home, kitten still in his arms. He grabbed a bowl from their cabinet then placed it on the counter top. Bad concentrated for a moment, then, there in the bowl, was cat food now, ready for Ant to eat.

Bad set the Antfrost down on the counter and the kitten began to eat the food. Bad left the kitten on the counter to eat, and walked towards the pets' room.

Bad slowly opened the door to the pets' room, peaking inside. There, sleeping around the room were all of their pets besides the new addition. Dream, Zelk, Mega, Sapnap, Fundy, and Finn.

All of the pets had an interesting backstory for their names and how they were found, or in a few cases, created.

Dream was an accident Skeppy had caused when trying to create a potion that caused the skin of a person to turn an opaque white, for a prank on Bad. Dream was a blob sort of, just pale white with a smiley face, it would blink but never make any noise, just sort of shuffle around.

Zelk was a cat with elk antlers, found sitting outside their house one day. His name was because of the tiger strips on him and Bad accidentally calling them zebra strips, and due to the antlers on his head, was deemed the name 'Zelk' by Skeppy.

Mega was a normal human that was then cursed to be a cat when he did something mean to a powerful wizard. Mega and Skeppy were good friends before it happened so Skeppy took Mega with him. Mega has a burn mark on the right side of his body, going from head to toe, due to one of Skeppy's early on accidents, causing a wound both Skeppy and Bad were unable to heal. Mega was unable to talk since he was a cat, and he always had a green scarf hung around his neck, Mega's only way to still feel human.

Sapnap was a small fire spirit, that got stuck in the cold climate that was the mountain they lived on. Sapnap could speak yes, but it was very butchered English so it was extremely hard to understand, Bad and Skeppy resorted to trying to learn his language, but it made no sense to them and it was hard to make progress. Sapnap took many shapes, his most common being, for some reason, a panda made out of fire.

Fundy was just a simple fox that was found by Skeppy when exploring. He was just a orange fox, with white at the tip of his tail and paws. Fundy also had an obsession with one hat that he always would either guard or wear.

Lastly, Finn was another accident Skeppy had made when using ice spells. Finn was a small monster that was quite fond of Skeppy and was dotted with spots of dark blue on his light blue skin. He was human-like, but would only just answer Skeppy, but in growls.

All of their pets were quite small, the largest probably being Zelk, who was only about the size of a large house cat. Bad noticed all the empty food bowls sitting there, with a small amount of focus, food for each of the pets was put into their bowls, a different kinda for each animal or monster.

Bad came back to see Antfrost peaking over the counter edge, wanting to jump down but was too scared to. Bad walked over to the counter and faced Ant's empty bowl. With a quick flick of Bad's hand another bowl was conjured and had gold lettering spelling out 'Antfrost'.

Bad placed Antfrost down onto the pets' room floor, setting down his bowl near the edge of the room. Mega would know better than to attack the new cat, Mega could communicate with the other creatures after all. The other pets though, not so sure about being peaceful, Bad quickly casted a spell that would calm the other pets when they woke up, and wouldn't be shocked by the new friend. Leaving the pets in their room, Bad headed to Skeppy's studio.

Bad knocked on the now closed door of Skeppy's studio, where he practiced and experimented with magic. The door swung open after Bad knocked, signifying that he was allowed in by Skeppy. Skeppy sat at his desk, studying the book below him. The book was a semi advanced book of spells, a book that Bad had already memorized all spells in it.

Bad was a few years ahead of where Skeppy was magic wise, due to the fact he was older, and forced to start learning magic earlier on.
"This is so boriiingg." Skeppy said, dragging out a few of the letters in 'boring'.
"Well you have to learn these, Skeppy, then you'll be able to learn more fun spells." Bad said back to Skeppy, leaning on the wall besides him. Skeppy groaned.
"Why can't I just keep making up spells?" Skeppy asked, looking hopefully at Bad.
"Skeppy, that's dangerous, especially without a lot of experience. I can't even start making up spells without the risk!" Bad said back to Skeppy.
"Can you at least help me a little with this book then?" Skeppy pleaded, while saying it he made the hand gesture for small.
"Fine." Bad said, trying to hide his small smile.
