Ten people were left, Tommy and Toby remained still, not wanting to give up even though dying was the easiest way to get out. The more this game went on, the worse the deaths and challenges got.

The most recent death was forced suicide, everyone remaining had to watch the death to see what their fate was. Everyone was horrified, Tommy was already traumatized by the first death he witnessed, but the whole thing still kept bothering him.

Technoblade smiled and looked around at the crowd.
"Top ten..." Techno said, then his smile faded.
"This next game is one of my favorites..." Technoblade said, then the lights flicked off.
"Now I want all of you the imagine a name of someone here that you want to be the next eliminated." Technoblade said into the darkness. Tommy immediately thought of Technoblade, not completely sure how this game worked. Toby thought about one random person across from him, this person was mean to him a while back, so he had an ok reason.
"Very clever Tommy, but if that's your final answer then..." Technoblade said, his voice sounding like it was almost next to Tommy.

Tommy panicked and thought of another random person he didn't know well. The lights flicked back on, making everyone be able to see what was in front of them. Two x's were in front of where Tommy was standing, two people thought of Tommy to be killed instead of someone else. Tommy looked around the room, eight more x's scattered in front of nervous people.

The person Toby 'voted' for was the same person Tommy voted for. Three x's in front of the girl they voted, she looked down panicked and scared, she had the most votes.
"I think we have our 'winner'." Technoblade said to the girl, she looked up from the floor and at Techno. Tears were in the girls eyes, she looked only to be a freshman.

Wet, salty tears started to run down her pale face, her hands were balled into fists. Before Technoblade snapped his fingers to punish her, she charged at him, not even caring if she went down in a worse way or not, she tackled the man to the ground.

She was on the floor with him pinned under her, she went to hit him, but then he disappeared from her grasp. Appearing a few feet away, he walked towards the girl, and smiled at her.

Techno looked at the freshman with a small amount of pity, then smiled wickedly at her. Her eyes rolled back into her head, furious and scared tear still rolling down her cheeks. She flopped to the floor, her chest rising up and down still.
"What did you do to her..." Someone across the room said, they sounded breathless and like they felt almost guilty for something.
"I just sent her to face her worst nightmares." Technoblade said to the person, smiling down at the unconscious girl.

The girl shook like she was having a seizure, her eyes went back and forth between rolling to the back of her head and then back to reality. Her screamed suddenly filled the room, Tommy covered his ears and Toby stayed there in silence and stared at her unconscious body. Her body shook more then her eyes were back to normal, her chest stopped rising and falling and her eyes went dull.

The lights went off then on again and the body was gone. The remaining nine held back a gasp, they were almost used to this by now but that still didn't change the fact people were being murdered.

Tommy's breaths were heavy, the challenge that was presented to them next was fighting a monster, only the strongest of them survived this. The monster seemed to be made out of shadows, snaking around the corners of the dark room to dodge Tommy. When this challenge first started they were spilt off into different rooms in the massive house. Each door seemed to be a portal that led them deeper into the mansion, making a never ending cycle of rooms, never being able to escape.

The monster growled at Tommy he gripped the sword he was given to survive. Tommy sliced at the shadow in the nearest corner to him, the sword appeared to now have black goo on it, staining the blade with shadows.

Tommy let the situation sink in once more, he had the power to escape, but not win. If he made it to the end and won the challenges, he would be without so many people, sure he would report Techno to the cops, get him arrested... Could Tommy really live with all that trauma though, he witnessed people dying, he was held hostage, he would be without his best friend.

All could end, he would be safe from harm, all that he would have to do is let the monster take him. Let it's dark black claws sink into his flesh. Tommy made his first step to where the monster cowered in the corner.

Before Tommy could let go of everything the door that was closed behind him opened. The light from the main room made the shadow creature hiss in pain. Tommy sighed then walked out of the room, seeing only three other people. Two random people Tommy didn't recognize and Toby, Toby gave Tommy a somewhat nervous glance.
"Congratulations!" Techno said to the four people left.
"You made it to the second to last challenge." Technoblade said to the last few people.

Tommy found some hope in this last challenge, there was no point in going on in this game, even the winner was going to be a loser. The next challenge was to fight one of the other three players, thankfully, his opponent was the girl that spoke up to Techno earlier. She made it past the monster challenge so she was most likely in this game to win it.

The two players faced each other, shiny, silver swords in hand, they both made eye contact. The girl's breathing was light, her eyes glossy like there were tears being held in them.
"Go on, fight." Technoblade spoke to the people, both fights were happening at the same time so they couldn't see what happened in the other fight.

They both ran at each other with their swords at the ready, they ran past eachother and the girl quickly whispered in Tommy's ear.
"Kill me..." It was too silent for Technoblade to hear and Tommy stopped in his tracks. That was his plan, he wanted to die, he wanted it to end, tears rolled down the girls face, her face held a small smile of relief.

Tommy shook his head 'no' to respond to the girl, he didn't want to, he couldn't. One of them had to die in this match, then the next challenge would be even worse than the last. The girl kneeled on the floor, facing away from Tommy, and closed her eyes, tears streaming down her face she leaned her head toward the floor.
"No... no..." Tommy mumbled, he wanted it to end, he didn't want anymore chances at living through this torture.

The girl wouldn't get up no matter how hard Tommy tried, Tommy had to do it, there was no escape. With a deep breath, he lifted his blade then plunged it into the girls body.

Tommy's blade sunk into the girls back, right where her heart was, blood poured out of the wound, a mix of happy and painful tears dripped on to the floor, produced by the dying girl herself.

Tommy dropped the blood covered blade and Techno laughed from his perch above them. The doors unlocked behind Tommy and he stayed strong, walking out of the door he faced the worst thing he could ever imagine...
