Listen. I'm actually thinking about making this a somewhat series but change things up. Like take away the pets. Cause I was thinking that I could combine this with another book I was planning on making. And make it like a three part series. This sort of theme as the first book and then that idea as the second. Then third as as some sort of maybe new characters or a problem that isn't like any other books ideas I have. Oof Gotta shut up before this a/n gets to be over 100 words oof .-.

The two split off after finishing breakfast, Skeppy feeling drained already, despite just waking up. Skeppy slowly walked towards his studio,Looking at the book he groaned, Bad wasn't here to help him, so that meant he had to make himself feel awful. Closing his eyes he cast the spell, again he chose guilt, it wouldn't damage him mentally at all so it was only logical.
Skeppy tried to make the spell as weak at possible, putting only a small amount of effort into the spell. He almost doubled over, the awful feeling blooming in his gut. It made him want to puke, he wasn't used to the feeling at all, but this was pay back for what he did. Skeppy's eyes landed on the page next to the 'cause strong negative emotion', the 'cause strong positive emotion' looked so appealing.
Skeppy cast the 'cause strong positive emotion' spell, hoping he could get away with just using the next spell. The feeling of guilt went away and Skeppy repeated the process, casting the negative spell, then the positive right after. Using just a normal emotional manipulation spell wouldn't work with this since the emotion being forced was meant to be strong and not fixed easily.
After doing the process almost about 50 more times, Skeppy sighed, the page of the negative spell still hasn't changed, still the same black font. Skeppy cast the two spells again, one last time before giving up for now. The forced feeling came then went away, he glanced at the page, nothing, still the same as before. The negative spell remained the same, but then Skeppy's eyes were drawn to the 'cause strong positive emotion' spell. The font was slowly becoming his favorite color, he had unintentionally skipped a spell.
The spell words turned fully to his favorite color, Skeppy felt ill, the crystals started spreading across his chest and his world sudden turned dark. Skeppy thumped down to the floor, fading from consciousness. Skeppy's soft breaths was the only sound in the room, still alive.
Hours later, Skeppy bolted upright, alert and ready, but not sure what exactly happened. Skeppy's vision was unbearable, even worse than when he woke up earlier that day, it was like Skeppy's mind had literal fog in it, clouding his already blurry vision. Getting up, Skeppy headed out of his studio to ask Bad to fix his vision.
Skeppy's hand hovered over the door to Bad's studio, ready to knock, but he held back. Skeppy instead, listened to what Bad said earlier and headed upstairs while being extremely careful. The stairs creaked slightly at the fact Skeppy was taking his small amount of frustration out on them.
Skeppy pulled open his old drawers, scanning them for his glasses. Opening one of the final drawers, he found them, in all of their embarrassing glory, they sat there, dusty and unused. Pulling then out of the drawer, Skeppy shook them and got all the dust off. Staring at their fuzzy shape, he put them on his face, like magic, the world became clearer again, his vision seeming almost mended by the glasses.
The rest of the day went by, Bad didn't seem to care all that much about seeing Skeppy with glasses, but on the inside he was worrying. Is my magic weakening? Bad thought to himself, he was concerned that the bad event coming was him losing his magic, or something along the lines of it weakening.
The day seemed to go by extremely fast for Skeppy, whether it was the fact he passed out for a few hours, or just didn't want anything do to with magic at the moment. Skeppy was sick of the crystals staining his skin, sick of how he kept wanting to go back to the books, and sick of how he made such stupid mistakes. He wanted to tell Bad, but he knew he couldn't, he was scared of how Bad would react. Skeppy had never seen Bad truly mad before, just sometimes barely on the edge of it, but never fully furious.
