Keigo looked straight out the large window, paying no attention to the conversation at hand. He just wanted to break it and fly home. This whole day had been way too long for his liking, he'd been taken off his cruisey patrol shift to endure meeting, after meeting. It felt like they were just repeating the same thing, in a different form.

"We'll be keeping in contact with you all." The long-awaited words bring Keigo out of his daydreaming.

'Please...feel free to leave me alone.'

"And by the way, if anyone wants to try and get in touch with Endeavor and get him to show up, it'd be greatly appreciated." The meeting was finally over. Keigo waits for everyone to leave and kicks his feet on the glass table and looks at the ceiling. The name brings a shiver down Keigo's' spine, not because of Endeavor himself...no, not at all. But because of who he was linked to.

It surprised Keigo when Endeavor showed no anger towards him when he ended things with Fuyumi, it was as if he was relieved. He was never too fond of their relationship in the first place, so maybe he shouldn't have been too surprised. What did surprise him though, was Fuyumi moving out of the Todoroki household. She didn't only move out, she left Musutafu without a trace, it was like she disappeared into thin air.

Hawks watched over her in secret for about 3 weeks, not being able to cut his ties off with her completely. How could he? He watched her as she went to work, visited her mother, take food to her brothers even to visit Toya's grave.

She rang him every day. He would watch his phone ring during his shifts, never answering a single call, he never replied to a single text either. When his shift was over, he'd plant himself on top of a building to watch her again. He saw her cry herself to sleep, muffling her sobs into her pillows. The worst was when he'd see her on the floor, hugging herself rocking back and forth. Keigo didn't think his heart could ache any further, but every time he'd see her in that state, he was proven wrong. His heart was absolutely shredded, yet he never stopped visiting, in a way he thought he deserved the pain.

Keigo was on his usual route towards the Todoroki household, to watch over her once again. Yet the whole way there, something didn't feel right, he had felt an unexplainable sense of discomfort throughout the whole day. His whole shift he kept glancing at his phone, but her name never appeared. Keigo sped up and finally reached his destination. His eyes scanned her bedroom window, only to find it completely empty. Her desk, her futon, even her pictures of her family, they were nowhere in sight.

Panic filled Keigo as he flew down towards the house, not caring about being discrete. He reached her bedroom window and was relieved to find it unlocked. He climbed in, as quietly as possible.

"Yumi? Fuyumi?"

"What do you think you're doing here?" Keigo's head whipped around to follow the voice, he was disappointed to find Shoto standing there, face full of anger.

"I just wanted to see her...to make sure she's okay."

"That's not your place anymore. Now leave." Keigo felt a pang of guilt at his words. Yeah, he knew it was the truth, but it didn't make it hurt any less.

"Please, tell me where she is." Keigo watched Shoto's eyes go darker, the exact same way Fuyumis did when she was pissed.

"You have no right to know anything about her anymore. You broke her and then left with no explanation, how dare you?" A lump begins to form in Keigo's throat and the feelings of guilt and shame run throughout his whole body. "Do you even know how much she loved you? Still, loves you? You probably don't considering you left her! You won't find her here, she's gone and she's not coming back. Don't bother trying to look for her either because she's better of without you, both of them a-" A hand is placed on Shoto's shoulder.

'Both?' He thinks. 'Has she moved on already? No. It can't be. What does he mean both?'

"That's enough man." Shoto looks up and sees Natsuo. "Hawks you needa leave. Now." Keigo puts his head down and walks over to the window. He takes a deep breath, allowing himself to breath in her scent which still lingered in the room, and steps out of the house.

"...awks. Hawks!" He's snapped out of his daydreaming, met with glowing red eyes.

"Whaddya want Miruko?" He groans. She slams a bunch of files in front of him with a grin.

"You gotta drop these off to your bestie," she chuckles. He knew she meant Endeavor, and he knew there was no way he was taking them.

"You know I can't, you do it."

"Can't, I'm workin', and no one else wants to see the old fart. You're the only one he bothers dealing with."

"Miruko I can-"

"Her brothers are at school, she's definitely not there, so stop stressin'. You'll be fine, just leave em at the doorstep, ring the bell and fly away like a good bird. Kay?" Her voice is laced with humour watching her friend become uncomfortable.

"Damn it...fine."

"Good. We'll catch up later, I gotta bounce. Get it?" Hawks shakes his head, slightly amused at her cringey jokes. She walks out of the room flashing him a quick smile before walking out the door.

"Whatever, be safe!"

"Where's the fun in that!?" He hears her yell from the hallway. He looks at the pile sitting in front of him and stands up.

He sighs deeply collecting the papers. "Let's get this over and done with, shall we?"
