"Both!"

"Nope, pick one. Red or pink?" Chi-chi rubs her chin with her thumb and index finger, something she picked up from watching her mother. Fuyumi bites her lip, trying not to burst out laughing at the action.

"Hmm, I choose...red!" Fuyumi was already folding the red dress to place it in the suitcase, knowing fully well which one she'd pick.

"Good choice! Now, which-" A knock from the front door interupts Fuyumi.

'Who could that be?'

"C'mon." She holds her hand out for Chi-chi to grab. Together they walk to the front door and open it, surprised to see who's standing on the other side.

"Shoto? Natsuo?"

"Hey sis!" Fuyumi is engulfed in a large hug. She snakes her arms around his neck and returns the embrace tightly. She looks over his shoulder and sees Shoto pick up Chi-chi, both of them grinning at each other.

Natsuo pulls away from her and smiles. "I thought you guys were coming tonight, it's 10 in the morning!"

"We wanted to surprise you two!"

"Well it worked," she laughs. "I'm almost done with her suitcase. Shoto, can you watch her please? I'll bring Natsuo to help me finish up." She recieves a nod from her youngest brother and leads Natsuo to Chi-chi's room.

"No way!" Natsuo sees the poster next to the small bed, and hunches over laughing.

"Crazy isn't it?" Fuyumi giggles. The poster was of Shoto in his hero costume. "We went shopping a couple months back and it was in one of the store windows. She kept yelling out "Uncle Shoto!" I got so worried that someone would hear her so I bought it to shut her up. It's funny now, but I was in full panic mode back then!"

"He's still a student,I didn't even know he had posters," he scoffs.

"He probably doesn't know either. He's blind when it comes to people admiring him," she laughs. The two pack up the small suitcase, Natsuo constantly being amused by the small holes in Chi-chi's clothes for her wings. They finally finish up and sit on the floor together.

"How've you been sis?"

"Happy," she smiles. "Genuinely happy. Things aren't perfect, but gosh she sure knows how to make it seem that way." Natsuo sees the way her eyes light up when she talks about her daughter.

"She's so beautiful, Fuyumi, it's the most relieving thing knowing you're both doing okay."

"Ha, don't get all soft on me!"

"I'm serious," he whines. "I was so scared when you were pregnant. You were so hurt and broken, yet so determined to raise her right, even if it meant leaving everything you know. First you were heartbroken and pregnant, then you left, and you were raising her all alone. I felt like I couldn't do anything to help."

Fuyumi places a hand over her brothers. "You can't blame yourself, I won't let you. Those were all my choices, choices to ensure her safety, and I don't regret a single one. It was difficult...gosh it was so darn difficult. I was trying to adjust to this new area, I was away from everyone I know, and I was about to become a single mother. But I'd do it a thousand times over if it means keeping her safe and seeing her smile." She goes quiet for a moment before speaking again in a more hushed tone. "I can't say this to Shoto cos he'll shut the conversation down as soon as I bring him up, but I just wanna get this off my chest." She looks up at her brother who nods, urging her to continue. "I picture what it'd be like if he was here...not all the time, but it happens randomly."

"Like...when she reaches milestones and stuff?"

"Yeah, first step, birthdays, first tooth, her quirk and other stuff. But some days it's the smallest things. I hear her laugh and I wish he could hear it too. Sometimes she'll have food all over her face and I think, 'Wow, I'd love to take a picture and send it to him.' When..." Fuyumi hesitates, a little embarrassed by what she's about to say. "When I first brought her home and she'd cry late at night, I'd turn to the side of my bed and say stuff like, 'I'll get her', 'I've got her', 'I'll feed her.' It sounds so stupid, but I think I was tryna trick myself into thinking I wasn't by myself." Fuyumi doesn't realise she's crying until she feels Natsuo wiping her tears away.

"I feel like each time I see her, she looks like him more than she did last time, especially her personality. She's got your smile and facial structure, but man...that hair and those eyes just scream his name."

"Ha! Doesn't help that she's got wings now too," she chuckles rolling her eyes.

"Have you taken her to see a Quirk Doctor?"

Fuyumi sighed deeply "No. I'm honestly too scared. She looks so much like him and I don't want anyone to find out."

"We can try and figure something out when we get back if you want. For now," he stands up and reaches his hand down to bring his sister to her feet, "we're gonna grab the two dorks in the living room and go see mum. Sound good?"

"Yeah," Fuyumi nods with a small smile and follows her brother down the hall.
