Sitting silently on the marble floors after throwing up at 3 am became a daily habit. She would only focus on breathing for a few seconds. When she looked up, Lee Gon would hold her hands and helped her to stand up. She'd then washed her mouth and face on the luxurious marble sink.
Afterwards, he'd held her out the bathroom and she'd sit on the sofa, waiting as he called the royal kitchen. Tae Eul always forced herself to eat after throwing up at that hour.
Lee Gon ordered the chefs to arrange the kitchen to be ready for 24 hours, since the first time Tae Eul returned to the palace and she asked for a meal at 3 am, the royal kitchen was empty. The chefs usually started to work at 5 am to prepare breakfast for the royal couple and all the palace staff and guards.
Seung Ah had to go to the kitchen herself and heated the meals for Tae Eul.
Since then, the chefs worked 24 hours in 3 different shifts.
That morning, Tae Eul asked for some omelet rice and it was ready in 15 minutes.
As she finished her pre-dawn meal, Lee Gon would always open his laptop and read some reports from his ministers.
When she finished her meal, she'd return to bed and read a novel she brought from the library. He'd close his laptop and read the news from his phone.
Once she fell asleep, he'd put her book on the bedside table before her and he too, slept again.
For the first time in his life, Lee Gon had to rearrange his schedule. He postponed his usual 6 am breakfast to 7 am, since he found out forcing to maintain his early schedule after waking up at 3 am was too much, he had migraines on those days.
He knew Tae Eul had her breakfast at 9 am these days. Dr. Young Ae said it's normal for her to throw up daily. Some pregnant women even had it all the way to the end of the pregnancy. She already prescribed safe anti-nausea medicine. And the doctor said without the medicine, she might throw up even more.
"Her body is adjusting to the pregnancy, this is completely normal and natural."
Lee Gon wanted to strangle the ob-gyn for hinting that he's worrying too much, but he held his emotions in-check. After all, the doctor was his own aunt, and the best ob-gyn in the kingdom.

It's the beginning of December, and the temperature became a lot colder. Tae Eul had stopped her daily strolls around the palace gardens, and had to go to the library wearing a coat and a shawl. She added one place to visit daily before going to the library, the Royal Church.
Lee Gon's parents were Catholics. Tae Eul questioned whether people in different parallel worlds believed in the same God, until she opened the bible at the pew.
Her father was a Protestant. She had never read a Catholic's bible, but she remembered her father's favorite verse, and opened it.
It was exactly the same.
In conclusion, people in different worlds believed in the same God.
It was something that made her thought deeply as she sat at the front row of the empty church.
Did God mean to have different worlds?
She stared at the cross, and the small statue of Christ on it.
Those advisors murdered by Lee Gon in the past, what if he was being truthful when he said they were trying to influence him?
Still, even if that was true, it didn't mean shooting them was correct. They deserved a trial. But...... What if his reason was true?
