Simisola_

Side Side Left Right

Side Side Left Right

"Where is that coming from?" I wondered.

'Side Side Left Right' The voice continued saying. That voice is familiar. Where have I heard it before?

Up! down!
up! down!

And then there was stamping of feets on the ground, like jumping?

The noise sounded close and heavy that I had to shot up from the bed.

Oh, I was dreaming?

No, I wasn't.

"Good morning, Simisola." Jade told me from the other end of the room where she was working out.

"Where you jumping?" I asked. She nodded then continued with her exercise.

I laughed, "Jade, this is very funny. Why are you working out? You already so thin, don't you fear that you might break some day?"

"Uh, that's rude. I'm not thin." She stopped to say.

I laughed again.

"I want hips and flat tummy."

"Huh?" I said as I got up from the bed. "Your tummy's already so flat that I thought you had none."

  "What about hips?" She pouted.

I walked up to her and placed my hand on her shoulder. "You have a very tiny waist which makes your hips very visible. You look perfect."

"But you just said I'm too thin!" She said frowning.

"That's not what I meant, duh. Don't stress your self." I said.

  She nodded.

"How is it possible that you do not have bad breath in the morning? Did you kiss a strawberry last night?"

No, I kissed Mide!!

"No, I kissed hot chocolates." I laughed. "How is it possible to kiss a strawberry?" I asked.

"When you eat strawberry sweets before going to bed, we say you kissed a strawberry. They prevent bad breath in the morning."

"Oh, I didn't." She nodded. "Where's your mum?" I asked again.

"In the kitchen." She said then frowned. "Don't go and help her out please."

  "Wasn't planning to and why?"

"She'd compare me to you for the rest of the day. I don't like cooking."

"I understand. You got a new tooth brush?"

"In the bathroom drawer." She said pointing to the bathroom.

"Duh, I know, I had a hot bath there yesterday night." I said walking away from her.

"Toothpaste's there too. I'm gonna get the door." Jade said as she folded the mat she used for exercise then walked out of the room.

I grabbed a toothbrush and pressed the toothpaste slowly on the brush. Standing in front of the bathroom mirror, I realized I looked like mess. I didn't care that moment, I was just reluctant to brush even though I had bad breaths despite the fact that Jade said otherwise.

"I wish I could kiss a strawberry right now instead of brushing." I exclaimed loudly, raising my index finger and placing it on my lip.

I just don't want to wash Mide's kiss off my lips. I don't want to brush. I decided to ask Jade where I can get a strawberry sweet instead.
