I jolt up, glancing around the room in a hectic manner. I spot a tuff of purple hair, Nadia, sound asleep next to me. I curl my fingers around the blanket and sigh a shaky breath. "It's just a nightmare, it's not real." I tell myself, trying to calm my nerves. I shake my head, knowing I'm not able to go back to sleep just yet so I slip out of my bed quietly. The floor is luckily covered in a soft rug so my feet don't make any sound as I exit the room. The hall is silent, only a few torches lighting the way. I walk down towards the bathing rooms thinking a nice, hot, relaxing bath will do me good and ease my mind. I just hope it's alright. As I get closer to the room doubt seems to fill my mind. Maybe I should get back to my room. After all if Nadia waked up she'll be very worried as to where I am. I feel the panic of my nightmare creeping back up, but I try to steady my heartbeat. I turn and hurry back to our shared room. I take a deep breath and slowly open the door. I'm greeted by Nadia, sitting up in bed, rubbing her eyes sleepily. As soon as she sees me she smiles and turns my way. "Where were you?" She asks groggily and I give her a small smile before answering her. "Bathing rooms." No need to lie, she'd figure it out anyway. She laughs warmly but a second later  she drops it, seeing my pained expression. "What is it sweetheart?" She asks me and I drop my shoulders, sitting down on the bed next to her. "I don't feel well." I say thoughtfully. Nadia looks worried and pulls me into a tight hug. She traces her fingers down my back in a soothing manner. "Did something happen?" She asks and I sigh. "I had another nightmare." She doesn't respond, just keeps petting my back and gives me a kiss on my cheek. After minutes pass by in silence I've finally calmed down, thanks to Nadia's soothing whispers and strokes and kisses. I let out a deep sigh and she smiles at me, still stroking my cheek. "So, Y/N, why did you go to the bathingrooms?" She asks as she softly plays with a lock of my hair. "That was just the first thing that came to my mind. Maybe I thought that a hot bath would relax me a bit." I shrug, leaning forward to rest my head on her shoulder while she strokes my hair. "Well, seeing as we're both awake now, why not go together?" She asks and I raise my head immediately to look at her. She gives me a little playful smirk and I feel my cheeks flush a little. "I-uhm.. if you want to." I mutter and she chuckles at me. "Of course, or I wouldn't have asked." She slowly gets off the bed and holds out her hand, which I take. I'm immediately pulled off the bed and into her arms. We make our way towards the baths, my heart fluttering wildly for no reason. I bite at my lip slightly, glancing at her from the side. We've spent a few nights together already, but I still feel nervous when it comes to seeing her without clothes or vise-versa. I'm just a tad bit more shy than I might lead people on to believe. Nadia opens the doors for me and I stepp inside, glancing around the room before turning to her. "Noddy, there's no water." She raises her eyebrows and looks into the giant tubs in front of us. "Oh, of course. Since it was a rash decision, I didn't have time to tell the chamberlains. So no one could prepare the baths for us." She smiles, crossing her arms in front of her and stares expectantly at me. I slowly start to grin after understanding what she's getting at. "Oh. So I guess I have to fill it with water then. With my magic." I wave my hands around and she let's a small laugh escape her lips, which I enjoy. "It would certainly be helpful and quicker, than having to call a chamberlain at this time of night." She sais and I shrug. I place my opened palms over the tub and close my eyes, concentrating on water. Not even a second later water starts to fill the tub until it's brim and I smile in thriumph. We mix in a few nice smelling herbs and sink into the warm tub after dropping our clothes on the ground before it. Nadia starts to wash my hair, making sure to take her sweet time as she massages my sculp, pouring some herbs and oils on top of it, massaging them in too. I can't help but smile, completely forgetting about my nightmare earlier. Her hands stop and just as I'm about to turn around and ask what's wrong, a bucket of water is poured over my head and I close my eyes quickly. "NADIA!!" I shout in shock and hear her chuckle. "You didn't even tell me!" I turn around and she shoves the hair clinging to my face behind my ears and smiles. "I'm sorry, but I wanted to distract you. Did it work?" I can't help but laugh a little before hugging her close to me and nuzzling her neck. "Of course it did. Thank you." She strokes my bare back with her nails and kisses my cheek lovingly. "You're welcome. You know I'll always be here to cheer you up, no matter what." I nod into her shoulder and let go slightly so I can see her face before I lean in slowly and whisper. " love you, Nadia." She immediately beams at me. "I love you too, Y/N." She sais before our lips touch and our bodies move closer to each other.
