Ever since my introduction to the Courtiers I couldn't get that certain person out of my head. At first I thought it was just because he had been mean, and spilled wine over me, so of course I'd keep that in mind. But I soon realized that wasn't all. He, for reasons unknown, had caught my attention. I occasionally saw the Consul around the castle, but every time he'd turn his gaze away or he'd mumble witch under his breath, but there was always a hint of morbid curiosity. But I was intrigued by his figure nonetheless. After a while I noticed him giving me more looks than others. Which was interesting. Valerius wasn't someone who'd make a move, even if he did have an interest in someone. He'd never admit to such inconveniences -

I'm sitting in my room, writing into my little journal. I smile, thinking about him. Hm.. His pale golden eyes appear in my mind and I chuckle. Even when he made a disgusted face, I couldn't but help to think it suits him. I think for a while about how to let him know about my feelings. And I get an idea. I grin, getting up quicker than I should have and the room spins for a second. I collect myself and rush out the room, not minding to close the door behind me. I rush to the first chamberlain I find, telling her a few instructions. Since I'm an honored guest here I could ask for a few favors, right? She nods and bows before scuttering off. "Thank you!" I shout after her as she disappears around the corner. I smirk as I cross my arms. "This'll be fun." I say and hurry back to my room to get a few things.

I'm in the baths waiting, while I pour myself something to drink. All this nervousness is making my throat dry up. I lift the glass to my lips and take a sip from the sweet wine, just as the door opens and I freeze, the glass stuck to my lips. There in the door frame is none other than Valerius, looking around the room, before his eyes spot me, his expression turning from calm to surprised and then to his usual Oh, it's you. I smile, setting the glass down next to me, getting up. I can see his eyes wander for a second before he quickly looks away from me. I'm wearing a bathrobe after all, my chest completely visible, since they're not famous for how much they cover. I make my way over and he tilts his head away, trying his best to look annoyed. "What do you want, witch? You seem to only be wasting my time." He sais, furrowing his brows. I sigh, holding up a filled, untouched glass of his favorite in my hand, dangling it in front of his face. His eyes widen as he grasps for the drink. But I pull away, grinning. "Consul please. I wouldn't possibly want to disturb you. I guess I'll just waste my own time in the water with all this wine." I say and turn my back to him walking back to the big tub. I sit down at the ledge and look back up at him. He kind of looks desperate but conflicted at the same time. He looks away, but keeps glancing my way. After a while of silence he sighs and I see his cheeks flush in discomfort before he speaks up. "I guess it's not a waste if it's good wine." He sais, slowly walking towards me. "Oh, I'm glad you think so~" I say and smile at him playfully. He looks away, his eyes mirroring confliction. "But I'm afraid you can only enjoy it with my in the tub." I say and his eyes widen. "What?! That's outrageous! Are you trying to use commands on me?" He raises his voice and the next moment I'm standing in front of him, holding his chin so his gaze can't escape mine. I smile, looking down at him. He blushes, lost for words. "Many words, but I don't see you complaining much besides the vocals." He gasps, opening his mouth to speak, but nothing seems to come out. After a while of staring at each other and his blush intensifying he finally nods and I hum. "I hope this witch will be a good enough company~" I say, walking back to the water, slowly sinking into it, never taking my eyes off of him. He gulps, his flushed cheeks now permanent as he slowly slips off his robes, holding onto the last of his clothes as he searches, almost desperately for a bathrobe. His eyes meet mine and I give him a gleaming smirk. "I'm afraid the chamberlain forgot to bring a second one." He looks away, annoyed but still slowly makes his way to me. He slips into the water as the cloth falls to the ground. I smile, finally offering the glass to him. He takes it, almost gulping down all of it in one go. He seems to relax a little and I lean back against the wall. "You know, Consul." I say, meeting his eyes. "I ever knew you were this stunningly handsome~" I say and can tell immediately that he isn't used to such straightforward compliments. I relax, pouring some more wine for the both of us. What is it you want from me, witch? Calling me here and offering me fine wine won't get you any closer to my ranks." He sais, half lidded eyes staring at me. I chuckle, catching him off guard. "Oh Consul." I move closer to him and he seems to shrink against the wall. "You don't get it, do you. My compliments, the nice atmosphere, the fine wine..." I stop to stroke a strand of hair behind his ear. "Isn't to butter you up, to get me into the court or any rank for that matter." I say, my hand traveling down to his cheek, then down to his lips. I stroke my thumb over his lower lip and he shudders. "It's because I want to get to know you. I want to know the real Valerius, not the Consul." I say, inching even closer so he can't look at anything but me. I have him cornered, quite literally. "I want you to know me, not just the witch." I say before pressing my lips harsh against his. He doesn't stop me, first he's hesitant, probably thinking about if he should push me away, but soon he kisses back, his arms around my neck. I bite down, earning a moan. I press him up against the wall, feeling his naked body against mine. He huffs and I smile against him, ending the kiss. "I didn't allow you to kiss me, did I?" He asks me, out of breath. He doesn't sound intimidating at all but I obey nonetheless. I smile, looking at him sweetly. "No, you didn't Consul. But I shall follow your every order." He doesn't seem completely satisfied, until I speak up again. "My lord~" His eyes glimmer and he licks his lips as he pushes me down to my knees. His hand never leaving my hair, gripping it tightly, he speaks up. His character seems to have completely changed, but I love it. This side of him makes me go crazy too. He gives me order after order and I happily oblige. The night soon turns to early morning and we use the last drop of wine. But even then, he doesn't leave, having completely shifted his focus to me, instead of the rich liquid and I'm staring to love the attention he gives me.
