Being one of the consuls at the palace was tiresome, especially with those pesky people around. The useless servants just added to it. Not in a good way and today was a great example for that. It was the worst. I asked for a wine and one of them just spilt the whole thing on the ground. THE GROUND! It was a disaster! All of the precious red liquid was wasted because some unqualified peasant wasn't careful enough. I sighed. I should've asked for their name! I should've kicked them out right then and there. Thinking about it just made my blood boil, so I decided to stop thinking about it. It was already quite late and I was walking down the palace's big halls as Y/N came into my mind. I couldn't wait to see her. She must be sleeping about now, but still, seeing her would definitely make me forget all about my awful day at work. I hope she had a pleasant one, even if I'd envy her a bit for that. I pondered about her day as I reached our shared quarters. I tried to open the big door carefully not to wake her in case she was sleeping, but to my luck the door went silent, even as I closed it behind me. I sighed with relief, finally being able to relax my shoulders, my expression softening at the sight of her. She's snuggled up to a plushy, her arms and legs draped over it protectively. I smile, thinking about how cute it looks. I unbutton my shirt and unbuckle my belt, getting rid of my shoes in the process, left standing in my underwear. I go to sit down on the bed and look at her lovingly. "Such a cute little witch." I say, knowing I would never be able to tell her that. I have too much of a pride, but I'm aware of that. Before I lay down next to her I grab the plush to pull it away from her, wanting to replace it with me. But everything happens too fast. The plush is almost out of her grip, her uncontious body reaches out to try and get it back, practically jumping after it. I throw the thing away and she lands on my chest, arms and legs now draped over me. I start to smile, knowing I have won but my smile fades as she humms comfortably against my ear, making me gasp from her warm breath on my skin. I turn my face towards her and stare for a while. She's so beautiful. I turn on my side, shifting a so I can fully look at her. I reach out, placing my hand softly on the top of her head, starting to stroke her lovingly. She slowly, very slowly opens her eyes ever so slightly so she can look at me. As soon as she grasps the situation and what I'm doing she gives me a soft smile. I can't help myself but lean in, connecting her soft lips with mine. It's amazing and she smile sintó the kiss, snuggling closer into my chest, nuzzling the crook of my neck with her nose. "Little witch." I mumble and immediately her head shoots up and her eyes meet mine. Her eyebrows are furrowed and she has a slightly confused look on her face. "What?" She puffs out her cheeks, acting annoyed. "I'm not! I'm a magi-" I cut her little rant off by kissing her yet again, grinning after I pull away. "My little witch" I say and this time I can see her blush, trying to hide her flushed cheeks by burying them in my chest. "Just go to sleep already!" She mumbles, obviously embarrassed. I chuckle and nod. "Fine. Good night." I say and feel how she smiles against me. "Good night, wine daddy~." I suddenly rip open my eyes, trying to figure out if I heard her correctly. "WHAT?!" I shout and she snickers, trying to get away but I grab her by the waist before she can even get off of the bed. "No, that's it, you'll get it now!"

I guess the purpose of my whole day was for people to annoy me.
