PROLOGUE.

MOVING BACK TO Beacon Hills was something Evee Sharp didn't particularly want. Of course, she didn't like leaving the town at first. But then she grew to realize how much she needed to get out of there...how dangerous that town was...

Well, actually. There wasn't real proof that Beacon Hills was a dangerous town. She just had an....instinct. Her instinct...Her sister's instinct... you get the point.

Her sister, Gemma, was basically her mother. With her parents being out of the picture, she was practically raised by her only parental figure. And, overall, Evee was a good kid. However, Gemma was gifted a sister who caught onto stuff quickly. Although she thought this was quite a gift at first, Evee ended up finding out everything Gemma tried to hide. Even if Gemma thought it was for her sisters own good. And most of the time it was.

Evee was a bit of a smart ass, as well. Now depending on who you ask and what time you could ask this, this would either be an insult or a compliment. She spoke her mind, making people believe that one of her main traits was confidence. Adding to that, was the younger Sharps impulsive moves. With her briefly hidden intelligence, she could very much come up with a good plan. But something always lights up in her, and that 'light' starts a move.

And most of the time, this move didn't end well for Evee...

But, at this very moment, Evee just stood next to her sister, surprised, thinking of the the one and only, Beacon Hills.

"Well that's a bit of a surprise coming for you... but okay? If I'm correct a beacon is like a high building thing that's suppose to signal something. And a hill is a—" Evee gives her sister a unbothered look while Gemma cuts her off.

"I know  what a beacon and a hill is, thank you very much. And you know what I meant, too. So, stop doing...that." Gemma exclaims while giving her sister a frustrated look, as she points her finger towards her younger sister.

"Doing what?" Evee gives her sister a clueless look. But Gemma could really care less about her sisters 'unaware' expression.

"Ignoring the question with some smart ass statements. So, shut up and take this seriously. We're. Moving. To. Beacon. Hills." Evee gives her sister an offended face, and Gemma could clearly see that look. The look that always got to her. "Don't you miss Beacon Hills?"

"There's nothing to miss except for certain people."

"Aha! That's it! That's something to look forward to! I'm sure those people misses you." Gemma says as she gives her sister a welcoming smile. Evee gives her sister back a stubborn look. She didn't want to give in. She didn't want to let her sister win. But Evee can't always win her battles.

"Even if you were right... which you are not, by the way. They probably don't even remember me."

"Well when you say it like that..."

Evee playfully hits her sister on the shoulder as she lets out a chuckle,"Gemma! Aren't you trying to convince me to go to Beacon Hills?"

"Uh...honey I think you got this all wrong. I'm not trying to convince you. You're going whether you want to or not." Gemma chuckles as she walks towards a table filled with bunches of books. Evee never bothered looking through those books. It was just a bunch of letters that she couldn't understand.

Evee gives her sister a slight smile as she looks up to her, "Um... Gemma?"

Gemma nods her head signaling her sister that she was listening,"Are you sure we're going to be safe in Beacon Hills? I know it sounds crazy but I thought we left because that town was dangerous for us. I don't know... You didn't really explain... we just got in a car and...drove away."

Now, Gemma didn't expect her sister to say this. She was a little kid when they left that town. But she never expected Evee to feel the things she felt, so soon. I guess the younger Sharp sister did in fact, find out almost everything. Almost...

"Evee if it wasn't safe we wouldn't be going back. You have nothing to worry about... I promise." Evee nods at her sister while giving her a 'smile.' But she still realized the slight hesitation in her sisters words.

Promises, aren't always so certain.
